STUCK @ NVC for AP

We're stuck there as well.

They received our case 19th September. Sent out 2 letters, on the 24th and 26th November stating it would be forwarded in a week.

Told after speaking with a supervisor that we are in AP and have been since 21st November. Can't explain why either letter was sent. They can't actually locate our case at all.

I don't understand why they are fiddling with a petition that has already been approved. What are they going to do...rescind it or something?

Just found out we are also in AP at NVC. I got 4 letters all saying the case would be forwarded within a week!

more waiting?, 8 months at VSC wasnt enough i guess

Y_habibitk, I am sure you remember me and I am also a K3 from VSC and I am also stuck in AP like you. Very weired to see K3 in AP, but we are. It's been 4 weeks now for me. And I only received one letter.

It could come anytime. I think the 6 weeks is an average, if you look at other people here who were in AP and are now out. It could be more, it could be less, and there isn't any way of knowing.

I was 7 weeks and 2 days.

The day has COME !!! We were released from AP at NVC today before noontime EST. They told me it will go out in todays DHL package to Kiev, so now the countdown is to see how many days before the Embassy gets it in the computer and we can finally make an appointment for February. I know some people said they called in 3 days and got appt, , others said 10 days. I can name 3 people who waited under a week, so lets hope for the best.... who who knows. i will call every day and use up a few pin cards, if I can be done with this process ASAP. Hopefully everyone else who went into AP with us on Dec 9th, will get released soon. Good luck and thanks for the support every day.

it's my thursday here in the philippines and still waiting for my packet 3...i don't wanna call the embassy or the nvc worrying that i'm still stucked.got our noa2 last nov.25th and last time i called the embassy was last january 7th and they said they don't have mine yet in their system...i'm been waiting here patiently... ...how long will i recieve my packet 3 from embassy to me....i think i'm the most patient vj' here...still hoping that it will be a good week for me...packet 3 come to mama...

hi everyone i called the NVC today and they said that out petition left ther yesterday. so its on its way to Australia (finally yaaaa) i hope everyone else will have the same good news soon too!!!!

one step closer to being with my fiance...im sooooooo excited!!!!!! woohooooo lets hope the rest of it goes smoothly and quick. im tired of going to bed alone!!!!

We finally made it to NVC after over a month...

Now I was wondering how you actually found out that you are in AP????

I know we have only been there for 2 days..but after all this craziness I just wanna make sure.

as far as I know it means additional background checks. But you can find that out when you read through here..... cause I'm not 100% sure myself!
