It could come anytime. I think the 6 weeks is an average, if you look at other people here who were in AP and are now out. It could be more, it could be less, and there isn't any way of knowing.

I was 7 weeks and 2 days.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Hey Natan i notice we got approved on the same date. I am wondering what they are doing at NVC. I wanted my wife by my side by next month. But i don't know what to expect. I have been here stuck at NVC for AP since the 5th.

I was 7 weeks and 2 days.

The day has COME !!! We were released from AP at NVC today before noontime EST. They told me it will go out in todays DHL package to Kiev, so now the countdown is to see how many days before the Embassy gets it in the computer and we can finally make an appointment for February. I know some people said they called in 3 days and got appt, , others said 10 days. I can name 3 people who waited under a week, so lets hope for the best.... who who knows. i will call every day and use up a few pin cards, if I can be done with this process ASAP. Hopefully everyone else who went into AP with us on Dec 9th, will get released soon. Good luck and thanks for the support every day.

Congrats jbmail and furious biscuit!!!!!

I am tempted to call as well, but will wait until either Thursday or Friday night!!!! Hope this is a great week for us all!

Thanks for all the congrats, we all feed off each others support and wisdom. When everyone was getting NOA2, I saw everyone with same apllication date and knew I was next, and then in 2 weeks, I got my notice, so knowing that its almost 6 weeks in AP, and that everyone else is right behind me, i think we will see one VJ notice every day now. Too bad the holidays screwed us all up, but Sveta said today, its OK now, at least we can look forward to an appointment date and NOTHING can affect this date...how true!!! With our luck, the embassy workers will go on strike that week!!!

be well and keep the faith, i predict everyone will be out this week...J

I am stuck at NVC for AP, but I am going backwards. It is like I am in rewind. My case was supposed to have been sent back to the USA, but when I called NVC last week, they said they received my file on January 13th, and we were put on AP. Lol, I think she was confused...if not, I definitely am. B) Honestly, I hope she was right.

Congratulations!!! I am happy for you.

I was encouraged reading your good news so I phoned NVC hoping to hear a good news about our case, but sad to say our case has not been sent to the embassy yet, we are still stuck in AP. Sad. Anyway, the week is not over yet so I am hoping we will get out of AP this week.
