They asked my SO the phone number he was calling from...I imagine they can see that, with caller ID, and so know you are who you say you are.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

All four times they read the same phone number - my fiance's landline, and they asked basically the same question. Usually they want to know if that's our/my phone, once they asked if it was my fiance's phone number.

I, of course, never called from that one, since I'm stuck on the other side of the world.

Nothing we knew of.

But I can tell you I do know someone who was married twice before, and was at NVC two days.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Should be one more week for both of us. lets keep posting , so we both know when there is a change. Another Holiday Monday, so no changes until at least Tuesday now, if you are planning to call for an update. I'm hoping Friday 23rd will be our lucky day......cheers

Both my fiance and I have been married before but as cdneh says other people who have been have not been held up in AP, I think it is a totally random thing and wish you the best of luck in getting forwarded to the embassy as soon as possible.

I looked at your timelines guys and we all got our NOA 2 December 4th and they were all received at NVC December 9th. I was wondering that maybe our cases were all in the same box and were unluckily got stuck at NVC.

It will be six weeks under AP tomorrow I hope they will release them before this week is over.

Yeah, I hope Friday 23rd will be our lucky day too... keeping my fingers crossed for us guys.

We're still waiting as well.

Hi cdneh,

This really sucks.... just when we thought we were so close.... we get stuck for AP!! I try so hard not to think about it or worry too much... the truth is, had I not found this site, I would never think twice that our case was unusual, only because I see other K1 filers fly thru NVC in a couple of days did I think why was ours taking so long.... however, I am greatful for everyone's support here and everything I've learned just from other peoples experiences... I guess the only thing we can do is WAIT.....

Have you tried contacting your congressman/senator for assistance?
