CONGRATULATIONS to all those who got out of NVC this week.....it gives us all hope!!!

miss_jane: I believe the call center is open Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 12:00am Eastern US time.

On Monday, we will be at NVC 4 weeks.....the last time I called was Thursday morning. I think I am going to wait until the 15th to call again. Man, I really can't take hearing them tell me our case is still in AP......it is so discouraging even though I know it is a process. But atleast seeing others get out this week gives me hope that things are getting back to normal and are starting to move.

congrats!! 6 weeks and 4 days over here!!! :crying: i hope this comming week will be a relief for me

It will be your turn to get out of AP soon, Shaqkeys.

4 weeks and 4 days here, so I guess, for us we still have a long way to go.

last time i called them was december 30th i think... i'm justworried to call them again...lol...seeing sombody being out on ap makes me hopeful again...i'm thinking positive now...actually i'm gathering all my documents now...hihi...getting ready just in case...

Wow, if you called them December 30th that's over a week ago. so probably there is already some good news for you when you call again next time. Keeping my fingers crossed for you Shaqkeys.

Yeah, that's good to gather all the necessary documents now....that way you'd be all ready and prepared for your interview. I wonder if you had your medical yet?

oh my word...cdneh, you finally made it...you were becoming like a veteran around here:) ...

so you stayed 7 weeks and 2 days... did they tell you why? cos if ill stay that long at NVC ill totally have to postpone my wedding...im already there for more than 4 weeks so im already thinking about postponing the wedding...

anyway, congrats cdneh and be happy cos you are a lot closer to meet ur fiancee now

blessings,

Nate

Thank you Natan...I was beginning to get a little like the wallpaper in here...

No they didn't say why. I don't suppose you'd ever find out either, unless you were to file a FOIA request.

We haven't got to worry about postponing the wedding either, we are a couple of older people, and have already had big weddings in the past. We will just be heading to the local courthouse to make it legal. Next year we will plan for something a bit more celebratory.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It's over. They tell us tonight it has been sent to Auckland.

I made him ring back and speak to someone else...just to double check

GREAT!!!!!!! I rang back again too, as it's just so hard to believe when you do hear it!

You must hold the AP record in this thread. Maybe we should make a list!?!

It was really so...anticlimactic

I did make a list ...if anyone wants to see it let me know! Not the longest, I was in a two way tie with one other.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

SAME CASE HERE WITH ME, JUST FOUND OUT LATELY :((

Hello Guys,

Ive read all your posts here and it really gives me hope, thinking that I have a company, yes same case with me so Im not the only one who have been with this AP thing..I felt so bad after knwoing / hearing from NVC that our case was under AP..

NVC received our case last Dec. 18, 2008 and keep on wondering why I havent receivd any letter from the USEM.. In fact we called the consulate here and the guy there told us they havent received the packet yet from NVC...I thought there was just a delayed in sending docs because of the holidays but a friend of mine whome I have also met here suggested me to call NVC to make sure if the packet has been sent to the consulate Manila/fiance but to my surprised/shocked when I caled NVC,it s a woman who got my call and after giving all the necessary infos to her.. she told me that our case was under AP, I asked her why???? She just responded me , Its just a procedure... Ohh God, I was not really expecting that because my fiance has just received a letter from NVC telling us that the petition will be forwarded to the consulate in a week or so...So Now, why did they send that letter to us if the truth there was just to hold our case there for some weeks? Thats ridiculous....You know my fiance was so shocked/ surprised with this matter after telling him that our case was STUCK AT NVC for AP ...

Sometimes I feel so hopeless here, but Ive tried to concentrate my time with some other things..

Im so glad Ive found this site, very great! Lots of people who are willing to extend their help, advice/ suggestions just to make all of us at ease and happy atleast for the meantime..

No, I haven't had my medical yet. I guess, I'll wait till our case gets to the embassy. All my documents are ready now, though.

Wish we will hear some good and encouraging news this week. Waiting sucks big time and yet we cannot do anything about it but have more patience, sometimes it's hard to do so especially when you miss your better half so much.

Take care everyone and keep strong!

God bless us all!

Well this is my story was approved on the 3 Dec.2008. Nvc my case and assigned a case number on the 5th. And ever since i have stagnated. I recently heard last Friday i was AP. Wow at the beginning. its frustrating. Its been over 5 weeks. I didn't even know that there was a forum supporting this issues we need to find a way forward on this particular circumstance. its really slowing things up. . But i am happy to see that for some thing a re going the way forward.
