I don't know exactly what B means but, thanks to Crazymazy i knew that can't be "CORRESPONDENCE" or "EXP 28 SEP 2009A" because there was no package sent on 09/29/2009 to Bucharest Romania. So i tried to push my luck with different logical thinking. Every character in "EXP 28 SEP 2009A" means something, which personally i don't know what are, but usually has to be an sequence. So if there was an order A i went with B knowing the info from Crazymazy. I other words i just guessed.

Oh by the way Crazymazy i didn't got the idea of putting in the comment 09/30/09 out from AP since yesterday was 09/29/09. Is that a mistake? I'm confused with that date. ...because if it's truly shipped out on 09/30/09 then all what I wrote about B and your package through the DHL is wrong. Please let us know.

so would of had to call for pick up 09/28/09 - so u were correct and no - was before coffee this morning at 2 am

Ok then, let's expand a little the logical thinking. IF we get more people finding they package being in AP close to 30 days with B then i'm thinking the following order:

1 - 10 days = CORRESPONDENCE (no AP)

11 - 20 days = EXP 28 SEP 2009A <-- notice A?

21 - 30 or more days? = EXP 28 SEP 2009B <-- notice B?

All that above is just an unconfirmed theory, so we need more people to confirm this.

ok then, I asked for an address to send a registered letter to NVC... they told me send it "Attn: WC" ... I'm thinking that's the water closet

Hi, I'm new here. Well, "luckily" I got stuck in the AP, too. NVC received my case on Sept 11. OMG, this is so frustrating. Feels like endless waiting again．I called my attormey this morning to let them know about my AP. Nicely, they told me it usually takes up to 3-6 month. I almost fainted right there. So glad that I found this place. At least, I know there's hope, and I'm not alone. So frustrating......

Well "IF" the Panama package is indeed mine, well, I found it using "CORRESPONDENCE". Truthfully I have not called today because I am really afraid they will say still in AP....and then I will lose my mind. The last few days I have slept very little...always wake up thinking about this sh*t. I think I will call tonight.

Let's all get through this guys..we are all frustrated, this forum has been a great help and very supportive. Good luck to all to the rest of their journey and maybe since we are nearing the 2-4 week mark that we all get some well deserved news before this week ends.

And I would also add... try not to "flood" the NVC offices with phone calls. If you must call, try waiting a couple days in between calls. I can imagine how the operators must feel there getting inundated with calls everyday. I am sure they got tons of applications to go through and they are trying to make sure none are fakes or scams.

Anyway, one of my chat friends has already got their letter from the Embassy. Her fiance filed the I129F 1 week earlier than I did, so who knows, maybe my girl with get her letter in a week or two

Well I would disagree - flood NVC with calls ..lol

And you guys call - ask for supervisor - have them do inquiry - and try to find out a bit more.

I found out though this whole process - one major thing - the people answering the phones are like robots - they may not even be aware they work where they work

Maverick - call the dept of state - they will tell you if you are cleared - anyone over 10 days - call the dept of state - they will tell you exactly what is going on - they are the dept that does all the checks for the NVC and the people are really nice there.

@boghy about "b" - I might agree w you - BUT the dept of state said I was cleared on Sept 03, 2009 - so is why I suggested the backlog ??

could also mean - operator "b" or Bob or BS - Been in He** - Been threw it

hmmmmmm I just checked the DHL shipments and see one that was picked up yesterday at 4PM heading for Panama City , Panama. I have heard that they often don't update their database until the file is already on it's way. I have been checking the DHL shipments out of NVC for two weeks now and this is the first I have seen to Panama. Not getting my hopes up too much, but I will call later this morning and see.

How do you guys check these shipments? Is there a link to find out?
