ladonna, if you considered that message to me polite, I suggest you get someone else to write your letter to the Assistant Secretary of State for you. Accusatory and inflammatory language will get you nowhere. Just a suggestion. :)

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

We're stuck there as well. They received our case 19th September. Sent out 2 letters, on the 24th and 26th November stating it would be forwarded in a week. Told after speaking with a supervisor

Yes lets hope so ...because also on that list of numbers is the guy who is in charge of Weapons of Mass Destruction ... they might consider not putting these 2 dept so close together :rofl:

Focusing on how to speed up this government process can , as we all see around here, raise a lot of frustration and anger upon us. The way how i see it, it could be worse, like being stuck still with USCIS. I don't say that we should not have any worries, but still guy's behave yourselves, we are after-all in love.

Other then that, oh well same story, called today NVC, still AP.(another reason to call them tomorrow).

with one day!)

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-09 they received the package from NVC US

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-09 they sent the Package 3 (with medical info) to my fiancee in Romania

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-12 Package 3 received by my fiancee

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-13 Package 3 sent out through Prioripost (48h guarantied delivery )

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-15 Package 3 received by the Consular Section

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-16 requested appointment for interview then for medical exams

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-27 - Scheduled for medical exams

US Embassy Romania: On 2009-10-28 - Visa approved! Visa in hand!

Interview ... WAIVED? Never heard of this, but they didn't even interview him, just told him pick up his visa the next day.

Current Status: Interview ... waived ... I guess :) They just took his fingerprints and documents and told him everything was in order and he should pick up his visa tomorrow! WOW

I can't believe it's only been 7 months since we filed ... seems like an eternity!

I sent a fax also...today is freakin' day 38! I am so depressed.

Another day wasted...

I finally got a hold of someone at the Congressman's office, they had me fill out a privacy and case work authorization form to allow them to assist, I will follow up tomorrow and pray they can push this through.

Aargh, looks like I am joining this group now -- a new stage of purgatory. After my case at USCIS took 1-2 months longer than so many others this summer. I am so ready to be with my love.

I cannot think of anything that would prompt an extra background check. I did get fingerprinted for a government job. And I have been to Russia 3 times in the past year. Maybe my case was randomly pulled? Don't understand much of this. Is there a tracking database like Igor's list for AP?

What an ordeal.
