You think they might have like office pool ? like end of week they tally how many hang ups, ask for supervisors, go to H***, I am going to sue, you will be hearing from my congressman and the one with the most everyone has to buy the beer for on friday night ??

Maybe they provide the food there for the call center workers - and maybe is like back in the old days - where they put the saltpeter in it so they are all mellow out are something ..

I have never dealt with agency that was so non human in dealing with customers - I have never gotten angry with any of the operators there and have been pretty nice and have always said yes sir/mam no sir/mam etc.

I wonder if would get any response if just broke down crying over phone ??

:P

Oh my favorite Bunny Girl, I did that, broke down on phone, did not phase them, its a damn shame.

My thoughts and prays are with you!!!

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I think they would win the lottery that week if they made you cry audibly. Probably record it and play it back at their awards ceremony!

Well the supervisor I spoke to yesterday must be the winner this week.

I WAS crying AND threatened to call congress AND I hung up on him...

Last night NVC finally responded to the emails I sent two weeks ago about our case.

Dear Sir,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General for further processing.

Any further inquiries should be directed to the assigned US Embassy or Consulate General.

I wonder if that's how they always do it? Just wait 'til you're actually out of AP before responding, so they don't have to try to explain why they're delaying you or how much longer it's going to take?

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Timeline

After a long voyage of 5 ½ months……………………

It was a bright and sunny day; I was on a short trip along the coast and I could see the beach enjoyed the sights and sounds as it would be just a few days to get home (USEM). Suddenly I was swept out to sea by a powerful force (NVC) that ripped my sail (my momentum) and flipped my boat (my petition) with no way to navigate. I had to climb onto the hull and hold on. As the days go by I see many other boats passing me by, going in all directions to their destination; most are fast and a few are slow, but they cannot help me. My body is burned (anger) and I am dehydrated (sapped of strength), thirsting for water when there is water all around. Day turns to night and night into day with no end or direction of where I am. Sometimes I wake up and see land and call out for help but it is only an illusion, the force is keeping me at sea. How I pray every day it will send me to my destination; my love waits for me there. It is day 21 now and I know I am delirious, fearing I will lose my grip and slip into the abyss.

Very poetic, brava! I wonder if you met your fiance online... I have this theory that people who meet online often have better communication skills, and tend toward a certain sexy nerdiness or nerdy sexuality, and are strongly expressive

this is off-topic, but someone please tell me how to insert a photo so it shows on your messages. Thanks :)

Current Status: Interview ... waived ... I guess :) They just took his fingerprints and documents and told him everything was in order and he should pick up his visa tomorrow! WOW

I can't believe it's only been 7 months since we filed ... seems like an eternity!

I called this morning to check - I must of hit something wrong as I got spanish speaking guy - he answered in spanish ..lol so had to say - do you speak english ? He said yes but I could barely understand him so had to keep asking him to repeat himself. It does sound so different in spanish - I was not sure I had the right number ..lol

BUT I did understand when he said was still there and need more processing so I said no this is wrong - I was told yesterday that would be leaving for embassy "sometime during the next 5 days" and he said yes but has only been one day - so I said well ok but is not being processed anymore and he said right but do not worry we will send you an email or letter when we sent it to the embassy"

so right there was like 5 lies in a row ... well maybe 2 for sure but if not had know better .... <_<

NVC actually works two shifts, and they take calls 'til midnight Eastern time.

I called 2-3 times a day until we got out of AP... usually once after lunch, again just before going home from work, and one more time around 11:30 or so.

I'm new here and me and mine are stuck in AP since 9-3-09. I think anyone can get sent there if they unlucky. I have a CCW permit and to get one requires fingerprints and background check and my fiance already had her police documentation in our K-1 paperwork. I call every couple of days hoping
