STUCK @ NVC for AP

We are also stuck at NVC. Our NOA2 approval was August 23 and NVC received our case last August 28 and until now we are under AP.All we have to do is pray.

I called yesterday morning and was told by NVC we were still in AP and did not hear from the Romanian Embassy either

So we are going on week 4 and think this friday is close to our 30 day mark so here is hoping something breaks

I also got home last night and checked my mail - I had letter from my congressman - When I sent my fax in to his office - I went into great detail outlining where we were stuck at - what processes we had been though - our timeline - etc - was whole page. So I get this letter and it has highlighted that I need to call USCIS and schedule infopass and we are just barely out of their processing times :$

They did not even read my fax - I called and asked for the intern that handles this part of his office here and of course went straight to voice mail but left her a pretty hefty voice mail. Then after I hung up - decided to call back and talk and told story to the guy who answered the phone so maybe get someone else involved

You know I am really getting tired of seeing the waste of tax dollars here - in one way when I started this process I had no clue the immigration laws had changed so much since 911. I have earned great respect in many ways for the people who work these jobs as is a great responsibility to handle this. And I know they are just like us - underpaid, understaffed joe blows working for a living.

But at same time feel could be more like a McDonald's or something - where when you go though the drive thru for the 40th time and still do not get your ordr right - you can go inside and demand to see the manager !!

I was in for 37 days for the K3 as of phone call today from NVC, Im 1000% out of AP. Here we go again, chasing this time the K3 visa.

yes, and the K3 is out of AP and I got a case complete on the CR1 I'M DONE with NVC!!!

Ok week 4 is starting so lets keep fingers and toes crossed and pray for miracle - I am so tired of trying to analyze what may be going on w my application - just really ready for it to move to the embassy, and move forward w all things.

ok - called ( like a fool ) NVC this morning and still in processing but the guy did say was nothing wrong with my application is just still in processing - then did hear back from the us embassy in Romania just few minutes ago via email ... they totally skip over the DOS statement and possible timeline and just said to send in package 3 forms so they have them when they receive our application ..lol

This beats you down .. I give up ..

I just got off the phone with the supervisor at NVC (Leila) with whom I spoke last Thursday. She told me at that time that she would put in a request to find out the status of our case. She said today that they had responded to her request: they have completed their reviews and are preparing to send it out to Seoul, and that it'll definitely be leaving NVC this week.

Mind you, I'm not getting excited yet... when I find out for sure that it's been shipped, I'll breathe a little easier... and I'll wait 'til we hear from the consulate to start dancing... but I'm cautiously optimistic. This may, finally, be progress.

Well you guys are having more luck..I tried asking for a supervisor and was told no one was available and I should just wait. If I could reach in and grab the agents neck over the phone...LOL.

Same thing with my congressman's office...no replies. he doesn't get my vote next election.

@ mari joe - you know I have worked every angle I can think of as to why outside of the obvious some are stuck in AP. I think mine might be the very 1st Romanian one ever stuck in ap - so am wondering especially with the dos saying our application is cleared since the 3rd of Sept - if it is politics or something - I am just clueless and trust me i have search every phrase that could possibly turn up some dirt on the NVC on both goggle and yahoo ..lol ..trying to find out why or what. It is something that is sort of haunting me 24/7 as I feel is unnecessary mental stress for those involved in this whole process. Sometime I come here and read the stories of those who have waited over a year or 2 years to go though this process and i get so depressed. I do not know how they make it though this. Then I wonder if my application will turn into one of these nightmares -and it is sometimes just to much to think about. I mean I just want to get on with my life and be able to come home to the guy i love and have dinner and look forward the the weekends and holidays again. And not have to save every penny for a trip just to be able to spend few days with the one you love so you can make though the next few months alone. It just gets nuts after awhile - and then when you call and they just are so matter of fact like "oh we have you by the balls - and don't have to tell you anything or give you any kind of time frame - and we will not tell you anything other then we are not going to tell you squat except you will have to wait till we tell you" and you have to say ok thank you just checking have a nice day - and act like we are ok with this answer - is enough for any sane person to just lose it

I mean my application according to dept of state has been cleared - is good to go since sept 3rd 2009 - Dept of State has kissed it good by - send it on - The dept of state said they have nothing else to check on it - every thing has been ran and came back good and we are cleared - even NVC said today - " you application is good - is nothing wrong with it" - why are we still there ? why don't they forward it to the embassy ?

still on ap noa2 dated last sept.8 and nvc received our case last sept. 11 :-( hope it wont take long time at nvc..am tired of waiting
