Well Monday will be 30 days for us, Ian and Lisa were 34 days, so i donno, i'll wait till around then. Technically, i budgeted timewise till the end of the month, then 60ish days for a interview in London roundabouts, so still, i'm on track for a December ending of all this ####### maybe....my ultimate goal is to have him here by Xmas but well, u know....

Still stuck in that rotten hellhole... day 14 :ranting::protest::ranting::protest::ranting:

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

I am still there also - really ticks me off - i faxed my info to my congressman last friday as it takes 4-5 weeks for them to reply - so hoping am not there that long but just in case

you know i am so tired of being treated like some second class citizen by nvc

i call every morning - is funny - dos told me on the 3rd I am clear and just waiting on embassy to be able to take my application - so this is what I am thinking - is maybe they have to go in order and then maybe is quota ? I know mine was last noa2 in the ones headed to romania from here on this forum - and one was side tracked somewhere. So maybe am in line for these to be sorted at the embassy ??

And maybe will be soon - ( pray )

Still stuck in that rotten hellhole... day 14 :ranting::protest::ranting::protest::ranting:

Am I the only one who is afraid to call NVC too much??

I certainly don't want them to put my file in a drawer somewhere cause I pissed them off calling every day

I just keep calling. I can't take this any more. Today I found out that my case has been in the NVC 26 days instead of 21 days for AP. I initially calculated NVC receiving my I-129 petition on August 24, which was the date of the letter NVC sent me. After reviewing wiki VJ I realized they have had by petition for way longer. They got it on August 19th! Here's the code if you are curious. Arrrrgh!

EXAMPLE FROM WIKI VJ

EEEYYYYOOOSSS

E = 3 digit embassy code (example TKY for Tokyo)

Y = 4 digit code for year (example 2008)

O= 3 digit code for Ordinal date plus 500

Example I. Aug 28 = 241st ordinal day ADD 500 = 741

Example II. 741 SUBTRACT 500 = 241st ordinal day (Aug. 28)

S = Sequence number of the day (if you were the second approval scanned, your code would be 002)

Full Example of NVC case number = TKY2008741002

So I'm not waiting for 30, 40 or 50 days. I've been calling NVC all day and the line is busy all the time. Used Skype and my cell phone for good measure. Forget it :bonk:

I went to my Congressman's website and clicked on “constituents services”. Mine is Congressman McCaul. I realized I had to sign a “Privacy Authorization Form”. Grooooan! More red tape. I checked other congressman in Texas and it's pretty much the same. Printed it and filled it out.

It may be different for you but for me....

What you can expect:

Once you complete the Privacy Authorization Form, sign it and return it to the district office nearest you. Please include any documentation that will help clarify your issue or support your position.

You will receive confirmation from me that an inquiry has been initiated on your behalf. You can expect a response from the agency within 30-45 days. This is a general guideline, and actual time may vary with each individual case.

As soon as the agency's response is received, my office will notify you by phone or letter.

During ongoing claims, agencies often request additional information. I will facilitate the transfer of your information, documents, or forms in response to an agency's request.

While I am monitoring the progress of your claim, appeal, or application, I will provide you with periodic status updates.

Yes, so if it crossed your mind to write your congressman, do it now and don't wait for some arbitrary day when your blood pressure is off the charts.

That is good news. I've been out a week now, but I still can't schedule an interview. I won't feel comfortable with it until that happens.

I specifically asked them if our case has been sent to London yet, and they said yes it has, in fact, today they did! So I was like "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I was on Skype-video with Nigel when we got the news, so I was bouncing off the walls!! LOL. My next step is next week call the department of state, the (202)number is bouncing around here or there i'll have to find it again, but they tell you if the consulate has received it or not. There is also a tracking method here too, but I figure I'll give them 3-7 business days sooo, I'm very very pleased...THANK GOD ! lol. 30 freeking days!

I tried to schedule an interview last night, and the girl at the embassy asked if my fiancee had received the "letter" yet. I said that I didn't think so. Then she claimed that I wasn't even in the system and could schedule in another week if my fiancee had received the "letter". Today I called the Dept. of State only to find out my case has been in Manila and the letter was mailed on the 10th. I think the embassy was just blowing me off thinking I still need to get together all the paperwork from the "letter" before worrying about an interview. :ranting: I'm calling back tonight and demanding an appointment to be set.

Relax....I know it's hard right now....but most of us are getting out at about the 30 day mark. In fact, I just scheduled the interview a few minutes ago. I'm sure you will feel much relieved in a couple of weeks.
