Welcome Badgerella and Luvhasdnoborders (F) It sure was a relief to me to know we weren't there all alone !

We were told the first few times we rang we were just sitting waiting to be shipped as well. It wasn't until after a week that we escalated, spoke to a supervisor, and in answer to a direct question were told we were in AP. Still are in fact.

We are at 6 weeks and 2 days..not that I'm counting ;)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Hi there Badgerella and Luvhasdnoborders, welcome to the waiting room

I was also told the first time I rang that our papers would be sent to the embassy any time now, wasn't till a week later that they admitted they were in AP and lat Monday they admitted that 2-4 weeks was not accurate and the process did not have a defined timeframe

I am still hopeful that next week will see the end of the holiday period slow down that nearly all big organisations suffer and that all of us here see our papers heading to the embassy

Hello All.......

Thought I would join in......you guys have really helped calm some concerns......knowing that we are not alone......

I have received three letters......18, 19, and 23.....all saying the same exact thing....."we received your case...it will be shipped within a week"......but last time I checked it was still there.....same scenario as everyone else.......

So.....I just wanted to check in and we can all keep posting with our progress to encourage others......

I'm still waiting since Dec 9th. As far as multiple letters go, i was just told that every week that its held up, they send another letter to you, but that still didn't answer my qustions as to why i got 3 in smallweek. I decided to stop calling and just wait until they send this NECT letter saying its out of review and on its way...we'll see if THAT one comes???

We've never had any communiation from NVC by letter with regard to AP.

We had two dated 24th and 26th November that said it would be on the way to Auckland within a week, even though we were in AP from the 21st November.

They've never sent a thing to say we are delayed, although they said they would, and I don't trust them to send one to say we are done.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Talked to NVC today. According to the guy today, it is AP. I wonder what it will be next time I call.

I don't know I'm sorry. The only thing we've had were two letters, from the 24th and 26th November stating that our case would be forwarded to Auckland within the week. They lied.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Hi Shaqkeys, Im not sure either if they do mail a confirmation that it's been sent to the embassy. Most I've read they dont, so it leaves a lot of people constantly calling NVC to check the status rather than waiting. Weve given up on calling everyday like we used to, we try to call maybe once or twice a week now or email too which takes about a week for them to respond. Weve been there 6 weeks and 4 days now.
