After 50 days in AP, our case was sent on to Manila today!!!!!!!!!

Maybe there is something to that special day thing. Today is our 11thMonthSary!!

I can't wait to call my Bing - I don't want to wake her just yet.

I big thank you to all for the words of encouragement and especially to uscandual.

I will pray for those still stuck - Good luck to all.

We're stuck there as well. They received our case 19th September. Sent out 2 letters, on the 24th and 26th November stating it would be forwarded in a week. Told after speaking with a supervisor

From what I've learned from other people here on VJ, it is quite the norm for NVC to do additional backround checks on the petitioner/beneficiary, in most cases the petitioner. It's very frustrating a

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks..I'm getting excited about it now! Hotel is booked, travel booked to the interview, day off work booked....

I'm glad I remembered to pick up my packet 4 letter from mum's tonight...it might have gone walkabouts if left in her possession. Ma's looking for any way to sabotage my chances of getting my visa and prevent me from leaving the country....I'm breaking the poor woman's heart bless her.

Hope all is going well Lisa and that hubby is settling back in nicely :)

Hey guys, I got a ray of hope for some of you.

We had AP for both our K3 and CR1 @ NVC and did not have to go back to AP post interview :dance: So we were extremely happy about that.

I know it's different from country to country, but if getting stuck in AP @ NVC means AP free interview then I personally like that option better :star:

Congrats to those of who got out of AP recently and hopefully those of who are still stuck will be released very soon!

03/05/09: K3 and I 130 both approved! FINALLY after 230 emotionally trying days @ VSC!!

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

What's amazing is that you and the "other" Thomas & Emily both spent EXACTLY the same amount of time in AP - 45 days. Eerie!
