Good luck to you! You can do the CFO when you get the visa. That is the advise...but if you are not from Manila and saving the trip might as well after your interview... Ask the consul if you are approve then so that CFO counseling will not be a waste.

Good luck!

How were you able to arrange your interview so fast? See, you and I are almost on the same timelines - our NOA2 and NVC receipt dates are almost identical. But when my fiance called the American Embassy yesterday, he was told that our case is not in their system yet and we can't do anything. Furthermore, my fiance called NVC today and he was informed by NVC that the approved petition has not been forwarded to Manila yet either. And to make it worse, he was told by a man with an African or Jamaican accent to wait for another 4 weeks! By golly, the folks at NVC aren't too cooperative, are they?

Hola Senorita Teresita. Como estas? Estoy bien. You have the same timeline with my friend in Manila. Her fiance sent the petition June 2008 and she already have the visa packet with her interview date on January 14, 2009. She didn't call the US Embassy anymore for her visa appointment.

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

¿Qué tal, Marie? ¿Cómo estás tú? Estoy viva y respirando y gracias. I guess your friend is lucky, somebody at NVC worked on her case immediately. Well, we'll see, my fiance will call the Embassy and NVC again in 1 week's time.

¡Felices Pascuas!

Hi Senorita Teresita,

We are also stuck at NVC for administrative processing...they received our file on the 18th of Nov and it's still sitting there.... This is so frustrating, I just hope it's over soon and we can move forward to being with our loved ones.

Lucky i am, my fiance called USEM yesterday and got my schedule of interview on January 8th. NVC forwarded our case last Nov 26th, 6 days after we got our NOA2 to Manila consulate. I recieved confirmation email from USEM about my interview schedule.

Just keep on calling NVC and keep track your case. Once they forwarded to USEM just wait for at least 1week and call USEM for a schedule. Good luck guys. God Speed!
