Has anyone tried doing data entry / transcription/ etc etc from home -- and not through those crazy online ads (you know what I mean)? Where would I look to find that kind of work?

Only having one car cuts down on opportunities, so I am looking for at-home work. I am really good at data entry and such, so I thought I would like to contract out and do that. We'll see if it's an option.

Any thoughts?

Im really hoping someone here has an idea, cause im looking for something to do at home too! Dont plan on working after i have the baby...at least not for awhile anyway. I want to find something to at least help my husband out so he's not completely carying the financial burden!

I aint cool enough for a signature.....

Hi there Cassie,

the only thing I could think of: use your network (family / friends / basically anyone you know) and try to locate small business owners whose business is yet too small to employ a full time admin. They might need someone to write a few letters or do the billing for them.

That's all I could think of.

Apr 11, 2008: approval email! (only took 1 year, 34 days!)

Apr 13, 2008: 2 more approval emails

Apr 16, 2008: email notice: "Approval notice sent"

Apr 18, 2008: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! card received!

April 12/11 - biometrics done - I start studying

May - get the letter

June 27 - Interview and oath ceremony - same day

Lifting Conditions

Feb 5/08 - Sent paperwork by USPS - priority

Feb 14/08 - NOA issued

Feb 28/08 - Biometrics letter received for The Bronx Office - have to reschedule

Mar 22/08 - Biometrics rescheduled - LOVE the Saturday appointment!

Feb ?/09 - done!
