Hello everyone!..i am posting this to ask information only in behalf of my auntie. She is being petitioned by her sister (who is a US Citizen way back 1978) to come here in US of which they waited for 23yrs now. Right now they are waiting for a packet for there medical & interview in Manila,Philippines. They got there approval already, and lately her sister received an RFE letter asking for birth certif.,marriage certif and police certif of which they comply right away so not to cause delay for there papers...

Now my question is, since they replied to the RFE. How many months should they wait again till' they can have there Interview & Medical...please anyone can give us some info..thnxs.

The timing is just like a CR-1 or IR-1 visa. Use the timelines to get an good idea.

Yes, they are talking about the (DS-230) packet for (Immigrant-Visa), it Requests Documentation.

Yes it's the DS-230 form that they lack to attached more documents, and it's from NVC. Now my auntie still waiting for the RFE letter this week. What if for the whole month of december, the RFE letter didn't arrive yet on the mail...Can auntie make Infopass appointment?..We dont have any idea how long the RFE letter arrive in the mail, but the documents they're asking are already ready to submit, except that we need the RFE letter. Hope anyone can give us idea how long till' they can have the interview & medical...and how long the RFE letter arrive....

AUNTIE RECEIVE NOW THE RFE LETTER..AND THEY WANT TO REQUEST ANOTHER THING, A POLICE CERTIFICATE OF MY UNCLE IN LIBYA(HE USED TO WORK THERE). NOW WE DONT KNOW HOW LONG TO GET ONE, SINCE THE RFE LETTER STATED 60DAYS ONLY TO COMPLY ALL THE REQUIREMENTS..WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE ISSUANCE DELAYED....????? CAN ANYBODY HELP US HOW LONG TO GET A POLICE CERTIFICATE IN LIBYA EMBASSY IN MANILA?
