Wide/Too-Wide Posts

What causes (or what setting is there that I can't find?) my posts to sometimes appear too wide on the screen?

(And do they appear that way to others...? )

Your siggy is making your posts too wide for my screen.

Sometimes posting a big picture will do that.

The one we're in now does it... wierd.. maybe it is my siggy..

Try Fire-Fox.

I have it installed on every computer I use, along with Google toolbar, the toolbar enables a handy spell check feature that places a red line under misspelled words, great for posting here on VJ.

Excessively long links can also cause this to happen. The majority of the time it is too large signatures, I'm afraid.

If you see a member here whose siggy is too large then PM me the details and I will ask them to reduce it in size.

If someones signature includes HTML or images and no BR (breaks) to move things to the next line then the photos or content will be displayed side by side.

Depending on your monitors size and settings you may need to scroll to view the entire post/thread.

Most of my computers have large monitors so when it effects me, it's extreme. I always ask those with these people to edit their sig's and even explain how and offer help. I don't think most people understand the formatting and how it can effect other's viewing pleasure.
