Might be the other way around for me.

Not to toot my own whistle, but I (USC) am an excellent cook, armed with quite the diversified culinary quiver.

My Japanese wife on the other hand, can hardly fry an egg.

Moreover, I can make lots of different Japanese dishes that she sure loves to eat, but has no idea how to prepare.

Works out fine for me, I love to cook- and that way she gets stuck with a fair amount of the cleanup.

Cleanup is good for her....it'll keep her from ballooning up to 230 pounds.

Yeah, she's certainly kept her figure:

Funny thread! Well, I don't love my SO for his cooking but he CAN cook good Jamaican food! But since we both are good cooks, we'll have to share the clean up.

My husband cooks well. He cooks hearts, lungs, livers, and brains all the time.

I tend to cook a lot of single chicken breasts...

My wife is like most Chinese women. They can't cook! hahaha  I do most of the cooking if her mother is not here.

I'm NOT the USC, and I met my husband on-line. In my profile, I put "If you like to cook, I love to eat"!!!! So, my husband knew I didn't like to cook and that I'm really not that great a cook, so he does a lot of the cooking in our house.

I cook more than he does, but I cook very simple, he cooks fancy. So, on weekends, when he has more time, he makes fancy dinners for us.

I want someone to cook for...someone who will appreciate my cooking :crying:

You could volunteer at a local soup kitchen.

I've done it. Now I knit hats and booties and give them to the NICU babies at my mom's hospital. I also teach kids cooking classes for Junior League :P
