Meh. In the end it's all the same. I can't remember a time a post was made re-visible. Besides, it's not the mods you have to look out for. They do a good job. It's some (not all) of the little squirrels with delusions of grandeur running around you have to watch out for.

Mods make threads invisible at OP request or if there are very nasty TOS violations/ personal attacks in there. Spam is also made invisible. It can vary but most of the time it's a judgement call. We're human like everyone else so aren't perfect.

We are here to enforce the TOS. We do that in a variety of ways - locking threads, invisiblizing posts/threads (which we don't do that often, not really) , issuing warnings to members and suspensions. None of these are mentioned in the paragraph quoted, but it IS what we do here.

If anyone has an issue with a moderation decision made on VJ then I suggest they contact Captain Ewok and he'll be happy to look into it for you, I'm sure.
