I was hospitalised for a mental disorder, my husband was the specialist sent in to treat me. Over many games of connect 4 our love blossomed and he proposed. :luv:

We understood that he couldn't remain my doctor (doctors and patients aren't allowed to be together) so I escaped from the institution one night, armed only with a pair of toenail clippers and a vase of tulips.

We were reunited a few short months later when I applied for the fiancee visa and then returned home to my country of origin to await approval.

We met randomly in a Yahoo chat room of all places. He IM'd me while showing a friend how to use the chat rooms. We opened our webcams and it was an instant connection. We talked online every night for 4-6 hours for 9 months. I flew to Jordan in October 2008 and after being there a week we got married! We filed our I-130 while I was still in Jordan...now we are patiently waiting to be together again. :) Love knows no boundaries.

Wondered onto an Indian matrimonial site even though I am non-Indian. Was on there for a week or two before I started talking to my now fiancée. We connected very quickly. After 2 months of non-stop talking, emailing, texting and messaging me asked me to marry him. After going to meet his family in July we were officially engaged. I love my sweet man wish VSC would hurry up!

My wife and i met online at Asia/Euro dating site. When i met her i wasn't looking for a spouse or even a girl friend, i was just curious about the whole on line chat world. we met in a chat room and after almost 2yrs of chatting that ended up being daily, i came to the Philippines to meet her in person. I believe this was the best way to get to know the real person without the physical issues coming up early in our relationship. When we met in person i knew her very well and the person i fell in love with was the same in person as well. We will be celebrating our 2 yr wedding anniversary in may and it has been 4yrs total for us as a couple. I know a lot of people have doubts about online meetings but for us is was the way god chose to bring us together and i thank him daily for putting Mona in my life.

So I just joined this site because I recently got engaged and my friend recommended VJ (she met her husband while working for the Peace Corps in his home country). I met my fiance the old-fashioned way. We both happened to be on holiday in the same town, walking down the same street, and started chatting. Before we knew it, the afternoon had flown by and we had to say goodbye. After that, we kept in touch profusely and developed a close friendship and mutual affection--but nothing at all romantic. I went back to visit him this summer, both of us without any expectations. By the end of my month with him and his family, we were engaged.

Now it seems that a lot of couples on this site met via the internet, so I'm just curious about people's stories...those who are willing to share.

I met my wife when I was trying to meet a chic to get laid :)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
