Print and carry the itinerary!!!!

When I buy the e-ticket I only get the boarding pass for the flight that day - not both. Don't know if that will be the case there, but better to be safe than sorry - the itinerary & receipt have both flight dates and times on them. proof of return!

There is no reason why E-tickets would not be OK. As someone suggested, have your husband print the whole itinerary of the trip. Everything will be just fine!

Eticket is fine, Travel several times on domestic flight with etickets. My wife flew to India via London with British Airways with Eticket. It's quite easy and save you time at the airport.

With British Airways, you don't actually select your seat until 24hours before the flight. From there you log on, select your seat and you can even print your Boarding Pass 24hrs before the flight. To save time they even ask you all your passport details so when you get to the aiport ( THIS WAS FOR SAN FRANCISCO) but i don't think it would be much different at other airport.

The other Great thing about it, at the Terminal they have a separate line for people checking Bags only, so technically if you don't have any bags to check you can go straight to the gate for Departure.

More and more people using that feature since there were quite a few people on the Bag Check only Lane.

Gone but not Forgotten!

I thought e-tickets were the only type issued nowadays? I haven't used a paper ticket since 1996!!!

Same here Damian. Sometimes you don't even need to show your e-tickets at check-in. You just give in your passport and they will find you on the list. Then they print off your boarding pass.

Exactly. You just tell the check-in person your flight number, present your passport, and hey presto. Perhaps the OP's country of residence is a little behind the times....

Sometimes you don't even need your flight number. I remember when I flew to Bahrain there was only one check in desk and I was the only one there so it was pretty obvious where I flying to and at what time. Whereas when I flew to the US with Northwest it appeared they were checking in mutiple flights on one desk.
