I TRIED GETTING AN NSO BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND FOUND OUT THAT I WASNT REGISTERED SO , I FILLED MY BC JUST THIS YEAR...WILL IT(LATE REGISTRY) CAUSE ME PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE WHEN WE FILE FOR A K-1?:help:

Late BC won't cause any problems with the initial petition but being late registered can cause problem at your embassy interview. Some people get put on AR because of it. You should start getting all the evidence you can proving you are who your BC says you are. Start with baptismal records, school, work, SSS, postal ID Etc.

Aba oo naman. I had a problem about my birth certificate. My mom registered my birth with the local civil registry 12 years after I was born. The consul asked me about this matter. Did you get your passport yet? You're gonna need that too. You may want to have your parent's birth certificate just in case there's a question about your Filipino birth by the Consul. But hay naku! You've got a bigger problem. Just concentrate first on your annulment and I am hoping that your fiance will be patient.

If you just registered "this year" that might cause a problem. Secure your parent's BCs and also your baptismal certificate or any other evidence that will certify your true identity (employment IDs, school records, voter's registration, government IDs).

my cousin also had her BC registered late but did not experienced any problems. as long as the birthdates you used in all your documents are same with the date in the NSO BC

Your cousin was lucky. There have been LOTS put on AR for late BC registration. Best for people who are late registered to nshow up at the interview with evidence showing "they are who there BC says they are" and not a terrorrist trying to sneak into the US.

i was late registerd but my mom did the rigestration last 1996 then i when i was with my interviewed last feb. they dont asked about late registration of my birthcertificate they only said submit all the papers the bcertificate, annulment, CENOMAR and NBI and other paers..wala nang ibang tanong ..as long as may birthcertificate ka sa NSO anyway you dont give any papers pag hindi nila hiningi..No worries about that as long as all the papers are original from NSO..
