Cranberry or Blueberry teas help with the immune system too- they are high high high in anti oxidants, if you get sick of oranges, try mango, and oddly enough banana(the potassium can help speed up healing)!

Ummm- vitamin b12 will help, and if you just need something to help you rest chamomile, mint and ginger teas help with that! STAY AWAY FROM DAIRY when you are sick, as it in some cases can decrease the good you are doing with the other anti-oxidant yummies you ARE using! ---HOWEVEr if you are looking for a good thing to put in to help with your immune system Acidophilis works WONDERS!--and Garlic too!!!(dip a clove in honey and SWALLOW-if you chew it be ready for a NASTY surprise!)cut the clove down to small enough to swallow- the honey makes it go RIGHT down your throat!

Hot water, honey and lemon can help soothe your sore throat--if its sore! Otherwise the citris from the lemon is just as good as from an orange-better even cuz it will nix strep in a heartbeat! Good luck- I'm sickly right now too!!! Bring on the TEAS!!!---Get well soon hon!--Amy

Thanks for the tips!

I got a vitamin B complex shot earlier today so I'm hoping that helps!

The shots are helpful, REMEMBER tho, if you are on an antibiotic(YUCK!) then don't take the acidophilis, for a min of 5 days after you're off the anit-- they work against each other! I have a thousand of helpful herbal remedies! maybe we should start a new thread!?! LOL-- None of mine have anything to do with mushrooms tho! You'll all just have to find another apothocary for that kinda stuff-- I prefer to call myself a witch doctress! LOL-- good luck at getting better!---

Depends on the type of sickness.

Mint tea settles the stomach.

booo...i should have added that...sinus infection (i think)

i only drink tea when i'm sick so i have no clue about it :P

HAL 9000 recommends green tea on a daily basis. On top of its antiseptic properties, it also helps with weight loss if done daily.

It may also sound sick, but making an oregano tea is also good for infections. CHUG CHUG CHUG.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I always drink black or green tea, seems to work. My wife likes all the fruity stuff but it just doesn't taste right to me.

Mint tea is great for sinus. Also chamomile and hibiscus mixed with some honey. (I worked at a specialty coffee and tea shop in college :) )

Feel better, Amby!

Get pot....no the other kind. :P

Fill with water.

Chop ginger and chunks of lemon (with rind).

Boil.

Pour water into cup add honey to taste.

Very very healthy.

Best for a cold type thingy time.

Enjoy!
