hi fellas, we just got our bio appointment for december 18, i was wondering if i can just walk in in there and have my fingerprints beofre the date... our ASC is in Vannuys, CA..

07/02/10-mailed it 2day

07/06/10-they received my application forms

07/13/10-received notice receipt(gc extended for one year)

07/28/10-received biometric appointment

09/23/10 GC approved!!!

9/26/20 Gota pproval notice

10/01/10 GC receivedd

All you can do is try. Some offices will allow it, some won't, it's a turkey shoot! Good luck :thumbs:

Yeh sure its ok for you to go at a diffrent time and date than given in your letter!!!! thats why they make appointments, just so you can go when you please. And if everyone did this then everyone would have to wait twice as long for that Bio appointment.

But yeh you jump the line, after all you are more important than anyone else.

01/22/09 - EAD Card Production Ordered!

01/29/09 - 2nd Email for EAD Card prodcution

02/02/09 - EAD Arrives in the mail (Yay!)

I did a walk-in no problems, two weeks before the appointment date. Not that anything has changed case-wise, it was just more convenient for me to go when I had the time.

Applying for Citizenship

17th January 2012 Sent in N-400 application

24th January 2012 Received conformation e-mail from USCIS

25th January 2012 Cheque cashed

13th February 2012 Biometrics appointment

5th March 2012 Received e-mail I am in line for interview scheduling

8th March 2012 Received letter for interview

12th April 2012 Interview date-approved

10th May 2012 Oath ceremony
