Dear VJers.

I have a question regarding signature. This is very unfortunate and stupid of me that I signed differently (hand wrote the whole name in English) in my G325A form rather than my regular signature(which is in my passport, Voter ID and banks).

Can I have anyway to solve this problem? Can I go for my usual signature in DS230 form and other papers in future for my immigration and naturalization procedure?

If they have any doubt on signature with your G-325a form, you will get an RFE and you can rectify the signature.

As for DS-230, please make sure you use your Passport signature.

And make it a habit to have ONE specific signature for all your official documents, let it be VISA or any other :)

Thank you so much for the suggestion...I am going to sign my DS230 as of my passport signature...BUT, what will happen to the G325A forms where I signed differently? Will they going to cancel all my docs in any circumstances? Once the i-130 is approved and sent to NVC, I then send the DS230 package with my regular sign, but I am afraid that will differ for G325A Signature.

Relax, I doubt any of that is going to happen.

With my own forms when I look back, I had different signatures with my i-130 and with my DS-230........well not that different but kind of different.

Bottom line is --- Its YOUR signature and you can always prove it!

Oh and start practicing patience and start taking things a bit more lightly, don't fret over every small thing :P
