How to know when NVC Completes our Case?

Aside from calling NVC, how will we know they have completed our case? Will they send out an email or hard copy letter to petitioner and beneficiary?

NVC sends a letter to petitioner that case has been sent on to consulate. And later beneficiary gets interview packet.

Brad, that's true for your case (K-1) as well as K-3, but the OP is CR-1, and this is the CR-1/IR-1 forum.

Without using shortcuts, CR-1/IR-1 is at NVC for 2 to 6 months.

No harm, no foul, but we've gotta be as accurate as possible when answering these posts...
