Man these guys are bludgers (slackers) in comparison to the other service centers. Don't get me wrong very nice people but they are not used to 21st century work speeds.

Why the heck would you setup a service center there anyway. Do they even have any foreigners living in that state?

Move it to either Maryland, Virginia, Jersey or NY and our applications will have a one month turnaround tops.

Looking at the VSC I-751 list one person has been approved who filed this year.

Whereas you then read about a person filing in August 08 and getting approved in November 08 at the other service centers.

Agreed - but they have been overloaded.

They got all of Texas' backlog - have you any idea how many immigrants Texas handles?

I wish they would hire more people! Does it really take much to train people how to check the same form day in and day out? Don't take me wrong, it sounds like the worst job ever but some people would be trilled to have government benefits!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

they've been vacationing all year long already... looks like... or they might have just one or two clerks going over this type of cases.

Even if they received all TSC transfers, it seems they did not increase the number of agents to catch up with the new workload. It shows that they were approving sept/oct/nov'07 cases pretty smoothly until they got to dec'07, when TSC transfers started to occur... It's been over two months they're still working on dec'07 cases only (except for a slight number of approvals of jan'08 cases)

arghhhh!
