Hello,

I'm just trying to figure out which size of passport photos I need for the interview. On the one document (http://travel.state.gov/pdf/supplements/MTL-SUP-ENGL-0003-0808.pdf) it says "Please pay careful attention to the photo instructions, as they are quite specific. If the photos

you bring to the interview do not match these specifications, we will have to ask you to obtain

new photographs before you can be interviewed. Note that this is the same photo standard

used for Canadian passport photographs."

but on the other page (http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3746.html) it says "Visa applicants are required to submit one front-view color photograph with a white background. The photograph must be square measuring 2 inches x 2 inches (5 cm x 5 cm)."

Does anyone know which photo size I need? I'm thinking the U.S. size since that has been the requirement for everything else since day one... Also, do I really only need one? (I have one left over from when I got them done for my medical, so if I don't have to get anymore, that'd be great!)

Thanks in advance,

Kerri

Always US size. and they took two at the interview. I know costco can make them, and there is a place that does US passport photos on st. catherine street. in montreal right by the street that the consulate is on (alexandre).
