Wow, you know recently a sophomore at HS not far from me stole a tuna sandwich from the lunch room. His parents never supplied makings of a lunch or money for lunch at school, he was hungry and didn't want to ask his friends for money cause he couldn't pay them back (under 16 no job).

He was caught before he could eat it, his mother was called in, he was given a 3 day suspensiion and his mother had to pay for the sandwich, even then he still couldn't eat the sandwich.

I"m not sure which one seems seems more outrageous, on one hand the cookie theif was younger and the penalty was harsher, on the other hand the HS student didn't have anything to eat and was hungry!

December 6, 2005 - Medical Appt Much confusion and lack of communication by Physicians caused much delay :(

March 23 - Checklist received

May 12 - Packet 4 received

June 1 - Interview

June 1 - APPROVED!!!!!

June 7 - Steve Arrived home

I agree with whoever said he should have made cookies. That would have been more reasonable. I mean, he is in grade 8 not grade 1 and he took something that was not his so he should be punished.

I agree. There has to be some punishment because it is stealing, but this is harsh. I bet no other kids are stealing cookies around that school these days :P
