Interview in one week

Hi everyone,

I have my interview scheduled in one week with my USC husband. I tried to call USCIS office to ask questions, but the options were automated and it was impossible to speak with someone. If anyone can help me, I would highly appreciate it.

One of the documents says, "If you have ever been arrested, bring the related police report and final court disposition for each arrest. If no court record is available, bring a letter from the court with jurisdiction indicating this."

I have never been arrested, so I was going to bring Statement of Clearance (or Statement of Good Conduct) I got one from a police department back in Aug 2008. Do I need an updated version of this? I talked to someone at police department and she said that the statement is valid for 6 months. Do you think it is OK to bring the one I already have, or should I obtain a new/recent one from the police department?

If anyone has done this before, I would appreciate your advise.

Thank you very much!

Since you've never been arrested, there is no paperwork requested by the USCIS. You could carry that police document with you, but the question shouldn't come up in the interview.
