elo guys...

I'm trying to prepare everything for NVC eventhough i am still waiting for my approval..i went over the ques. for the form DS 230 which in ques. #12 is asking for present occupation..My question is this, my husband has just recently got promoted in philippines...should i put his current position? coz went i filed I-130 application i put his old position...pls help....

Put the position he will be in when the NVC requests the DS-230, it doesn't matter if it's different from the I-130 since people change jobs all the time.

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

rule of thumb:

always put in information that is most current. even if it differs from I-130..things change within months so its always easier for you to explain.

USCIS (Vermont Service Center) Journey

Mailed I-130 Packet on 05/27/08

Approved: 12/23/08

NVC Journey

NVC Case Number assigned 01/02/09

Case Completed 01/21/09

End of Visa Journey

New Delhi Embassy Interview 03/17/09

VISA APPROVED!!!!!
