I sent my I-129f to the Nebraska service center in Jan 2006.

I received my NOA1 on Jan. 23, 2006. On March 31, 2006 I received

notice that the sent my application to El Paso Texas. It is now June 2,

and I have not heard anything from the Nebraska or El Paso service centers.

Nebraska is now processing application from Feb. 20, 2006. It's been almost

5 mo. and I still haven't receivec my NOA2. I wrote El Paso a letter and received a

form letter stating my application was in there process. Then I call the National

customer service center and got through to the LEVEL 2? costomer service and

the gentleman told me my application should never have gone to El Paso and

he would send an e-mail to El Paso and try to find out why it was sent there.

(I live in Colorado). He then told me that i would take 30-45 day to receive an

answer from El Paso. I was just wondering if there were others that have had

these kind of problem and if anyone knew who to speed things up. I see some

of the applications that were sent in Jan. 06, have already had there interviews.

Thanks

By your NOA1 date you should have surely gotten your NOA2 by now. I cant recall any petitions going to El Paso, so this may be something that they can expedite for you because of their mistake. I would continue to follow up with them and request that your petiton be expedited due to their mess up. At this stage you should be done, or very close to being done. Best of luck and I hope they will expedite you and get you back on track.

I am sorry to hear this - I have never heard of this El Paso service centre and dont understand why nebraska would send it there, best thing would be for you to keep contacting Nebraska to chase them to find your file. I am so sorry - I dont know what else has happened - whether anyone else can give some light :)
