I called the Clinic nominated by Delhi Embassy, they just needed a letter which had the case number mentioned on it ( I use the Packet 4 cover letter) my passport and 2 photos....I doubt I will get the formal interview letter before the due date......God knows how much time it will take the docs to reach India....because my hubby has not got his copy too as yet.....

Thank you Aman.

We are going to do the same procedure as you did. My husband already called the assigned medical center in Dhaka,Bangladesh and they assured him to do the medical test without the interview letter.Yes they also need to see His Passport, 2 photos and NVC case number.

Regarding the Interview letter, I didnot receive the letter either here in USA.

Hello,

Our CR1 was approved in Dec 22, 2008. Still waiting for interview, was told by NVC operator that March schedule is full will have to wait until April??? Is anyone waiting for interview in Thailand? If so any luck,,, has anyone heard what the normal wait times are for interview in thailand?

From the tracking by DHL, only 4 cases for Thailand got scheduled for the interview in March. Few people that I know are still waiting too and their case got completed at NVC almost the same time as you did.

thanks Mommy,

we are thinking about sending K-3 to embassy, because April interview is not sounding promising now and I can't wait any longer.. Have you heard why it takes so long to schedule an interview in thailand.. I only know of one person that has gotten interview 2 months after completion of case and I'm at 3 months now.

I just assume that Embassy has fully booked for interview for K-1 and K-3 since Embassy schedules schedule the interview for them. I think NVC has to follow the schedule of the Embassy about when there is the time available or left for the month for other kind of Visa like us.

seems our journey is close to the finish line. congratz to us all. for patience, first of all. I learned many things during this process, and most of all I learned about myself. new ways to hope, new ways to keep chin up, my limits, patience, how important sharing is, how much ppl u dont know can help, how much love and hope are universal, etc. (if only the whole world would belike visa journey, no?)

anyways, what I wanted to say is we finaly got the interview date: 30th of march. a little bit disapointing, more than a year since we filed, long after te case was completed, and monday is our anniversary which will be celebrated over skype. but all in all, it doesn't matter anymore. we made it so far, this is the last bump. in few months I'll be there missing home. and so the show goes on.

good luck to everyone at the interview. maybe we should start a new thread with how our interviews went. the lucky one with the first date should start it and share his/her experence with us.

enjoy life,

Andreea

First of all, congratulations on your approval.

My case was the same as yours; I was approved on both I-129f and I-130. At this point you have no choice to do anything about I-129f, you just let it take its course. Actually it will help you at the end. The I-129f will take about two weeks to get to the consul office and probably another week or two for your beneficiary to receive the mail from the consul office. The letter from the consul office will have some directions how to obtain medical, police and all other necessary documents and the date for the interview appointment. You can reschedule the appointments or change it to CR1 later on when it is convenient for your beneficiary.

What you have to do in the mean time is email NVC for the DS3032 so that you will be the agent for your beneficiary. If you have the signed DS3032 with you, you can mail the hard copy at the same time. In my case I did not have the signed DS3032 so I just emailed the NVC and I got a response. For further in detail instructions, use the James's NVC shortcut. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...28Before_NVC.29

Good Luck and have a good day.

Any one heard fromCMNB?????

i was just thinking the same thing! our cases were approved a day apart- any news cmnb??

i'm afraid this is not going to be my lucky month. another ghana case that was approved in december just got an interview for march 30th. never thought that this would be the part of the process to slow me down. we'll see what happens. c'est la vie.

I think CMNB mentioned long time ago about going to India in Feb 2009.

Dear Friends,

I have just returned from India yesterday and you all will be glad to know that my wife's interview has been scheduled for March 17th in New Delhi. I cannot thank you all enough for the help and support that you have provided to me. I repeat, VJ has been a family to me and its touching to see how every one is concerned about you. Thanks again! I am now counting days so this drama can finally be over. My wife will complete her medical and VFS thing this week. Here are the next steps as I understand from my friends here.

1. Got approval from NVC.

2. Got interview date and appointment letter.

3. Wife goes for a complete medical examination at the embassy designated clinic/hospital/doctor. Carries with her the following to the medical:

- Interview appointment letter

- Two passport size pics

- Records of any past immunizations

- Original and a photocopy of her passport

4. Once the medical is approved/completed, she heads over to VFS personally and pays the courier fee. She will carry along with her the following:

- Interview letter

- A copy of the I-864 and DS-230 packet (just in case they ask for something)

- Medical report, just in case they need something from there

- Her original passport

- Two passport size pics

5. Once, all this is done she heads over to the embassy for her interview on the assigned date with the original medical documents and the following:

- Proof of relationship

- Passport

- copy of documents and packets previously submitted to USCIS and NVC

I hope I have outlined all of the steps that will follow next. Can anyone please please please attest the above and add anything that I may have missed.

Thanks again for all your help.
