Recent I-130 Approvals (Nov. /Dec.) - NVC Process

I checked thru the automated system and they haven't gotten mine yet, tho it was only approved Dec 1st, heh

Same here...I've been calling like six times a day to check in the AVR. I even went through an operator yesterday who seemed pretty annoyed (and I don't blame her) that I am inquiring about a case approved on Dec 1. hey...I welcome a week long wait (hopefully) compared to the gruesome 9-month-ever-increasingly-painful wait at the USCIS's fine facilities at Vermont Service Center.

I've been aproved I-130 in nov 4 08 an gone threw the nvc paper work an paid AOS an they have completed papers on 1/15/09 hope we get interview date soon. good luck..

congrats to everyone who has gotten their interview dates!! you're almost there!

i just called to check about mine and the woman- whom i'm guessing is brand new- literally asked me to hold while she scrolled to the second page of her script about 'limited capacity' and the scheduling protocol. i was feeling very optimistic that i would be scheduled this month (based on recent history for the embassy) but then i came across someone whose case was completed in december and has not been scheduled yet. now i'm very nervous. i know each embassy is different, but everyone else's dates make me hopeful- fingers crossed!

Yes finally i got interview date for March 17. you should call nvc aman, we are at same embassy and your case completed only two days after mine.

Aman, don't lose hope, I just called NVC, they said they will still schedule the interview for March until next Friday or until the schedule at embassy is full.

i was just thinking the same thing! our cases were approved a day apart- any news cmnb??

i'm afraid this is not going to be my lucky month. another ghana case that was approved in december just got an interview for march 30th. never thought that this would be the part of the process to slow me down. we'll see what happens. c'est la vie.

I see that ,you have scheduled your medical exam for Feb 16th.

Did you already get the Interview letter with medical instructions from NVC ? How did you do this ?

I mean, can my husband(beneficiary) do this with out receiving the interview letter ? Please clarify that.

I think CMNB mentioned long time ago about going to India in Feb 2009.

Still wishing anyone from Amman embassy could tell me if there are anymore fees at the time of interview? Hubby is getting impatient, I told him I am pretty sure I paid everything, BUT I can't seem to convince him- if someone who's already interviewed could tell me anything that would be great! We are CR1. -Amy

I called the Clinic nominated by Delhi Embassy, they just needed a letter which had the case number mentioned on it ( I use the Packet 4 cover letter) my passport and 2 photos....I doubt I will get the formal interview letter before the due date......God knows how much time it will take the docs to reach India....because my hubby has not got his copy too as yet.....
