Thanks cmnb, OBX & everyone for sharing your experience. I have learned a lot from this site such as sign everything in blue ink, don't send 2008 W2, make you spouse a beneficiary of your VRS, 403b, 401K, life insurance to prove your marriage during interview.

Spent half a day with HR folks to update beneficiary information. They keep telling me that according to VRS/403b/401k law spouse is automatically a beneficiary but I told them to do the paper anyway. Got it notorized just in case.

What happens if your case is approved before or by Feb 13, 2009? Do you get a March interview? How could I check people waiting for interview for a given embassay?

mindmaster - you may hate me for this post or not like my answer but if your case is approved next week, you will have a very slim chance of getting a march interview date because NVC ONLY schedules interviews in the second week of each month (from what i know). but hey, you never know...you can never predict immigration..eh! good luck to you dude...i know it has been quite a ride for all of us here and all we can do now is wait for the day when we see some ray of bright light when we will be with our loved ones. good luck!

We have a big week coming up. I hope and pray that everyone who's in the same situation as us gets what they wish for, the interview date that lets them move on to the next stage.

very nervous, hope to get interview date for march, my case completed feb. 2nd, hope it's not too late for march interview date.
