guys! no more interview scheduling i have to wait till next month!

Dear All,

here is my update. i checked the online payment system at about 8 AM this morning. the AOS fee bill shows as paid and the IV shows as not paid. but when i click on the receipt page they both show as paid and i have the ability of printing the barcode sheets, which obviously i did. i checked my bank account and it shows that they took out the money (amazing how they took just about 12 hrs to take the payment). i called two operators. the first told me to wait until both say paid and then send the packages. the second one confirmed that they had just generated my IV fee bill today and that they had recieved my $400 and $70 and that the payment was still pending.

therefore, i think i should be fine. i still have to make photocopies of my package so I will just mail everything tomorrow. this will give NVC enough time to sort their mess out.

I would suggest don't mail DS-230 until it shows PAID on both screens. I had exactly same problem but I mailed DS-230 anyways (Dec. 17), status became PAID on Dec. 22 on both screens. My DS-230 is still not reviewed.

but have they recieved and acknowledged your payment?

Yes I paid online Dec. 11, took them 12 todays to acknowledge PAID on both screens. but they received DS-230 on Dec. 17- i think they put it on hold since payment wasn't reflecting PAID in their systems at that time. Now I'm stuck, 4 weeks since they got my DS-230 still in review

i believe for any consulate as she said that scheduling is over to call back on the second week of February.

thanks kelvin. the IV bill shows as PAID this morning anyway so i'll just print off the cover sheets and send in everything to the NVC. i always get nervous when i'm at the post office, worried that somehow i've forgotten something and will get slowed down. this whole process has turned me into a paranoid over-analyst.

i will just wait for my bank to finally clear payment as it shows pending there. then i will start bugging the supervisors there to get it to change to paid.

update: both of the payments show as being paid now...WOOOOHOOOO!!!

i dont see the "Not Paid" drama anymore. i confirmed this with the operator. apparently the online system just updated a few minutes ago..

thanks all....i will be sending both the packets tomorrow and hope to be approved soon.

I called this morning and what the operator said was to call again after this coming Monday to see if we got an interview for February. I will still probably call daily to see because I am a bit anxious to see.

i was thinking Montreal is slow and backed up - I am hoping for a Feb interview as well!!!

I Just called NVC and they gave me great news... MY CASE IS COMPLETE....

And as for the PCC RFE for venezuela...it was definately a mistake on their side...

I just called the NVC this morning. The operator said I wasn't scheduled yet, but that they had not been told they were done scheduling, so I am wondering if it is Embassy specific?

i kind of made peace with the idea that we won't get a case complete before they finish sheduling interviews this month. but for all those who already have their case complete, wish u good luck!

SraCastillo, I am sorry to hear u got that answer from NVC. seems we r connected after all. if I couldn't keep up with u, u will wait for me. and I was just telling my husband: u know I told u about that case which had same dates as mine? well, now they will get an interview sheduled this month, and we won't because those lost bags. then i saw yr post. weird how these things happen, no?

Thats great!!! Very happy to know that everything is ok... Don't worry, just be sure to double check everything at your house before going to the post office. Verify that everything is dated and signed. Also, be sure to put your NVC case number on th top right hand corner of EVERY page of both packages.

Believe me... I know what you are talking about... I had that same feeling when I went to send my documents... You are not alone....

Hi everybody,

Update - I received the AOS bill by mail on 1/12/09 and paid for it the same day. Now, today 1/13/09, it shows paid and I was able to print the coversheet. And also I was worried about the DS -3032 because I do not have the signed form in my possession. The only option I have at this time was just for the email to work. The first one I emailed was on 1/8/09 and I emailed them twice yesterday. Today, I received email notification from NVC that they received the email for DS-3032. That is a great news, it took them 5 days for the response of DS-3032. Well, good luck every body.
