Sam, best is to email and mail the DS 3032. from most cases here, I observed mailing works way faster than emailing. u just have to use a fast mail option. good luck

Well, the problem I have is that I do not have the signed DS 3032 in my possession. But a few days more waiting does not hurt me, I guess, comparing to the wait most of us had to endure at VSC. Thanks

Hang in there, it may happen when least expecting. Just forget about immigration for a few day and things might work itself out. We'll still be here, I'm also now stuck with getting paperwork from wifes side.

No updates. Same old response of "allow upto 90 days".

I'll see you guys (or may not, since all of you might already be done) when I have an update.

Happy Journey!

Well it depends on the country of the beneficiary whether you need original or certified copy. Check Lingche shortcut.

NVC accepts certified copies. For PCC, send certified copies to NVC as you will need originals for K-3 during VFS submission. Passport office usually issues 2 originals. For PCC from district office, ask the officer to put a stamp on a photocopy which will make it certified copy.

Hi MENA!!! Beautiful Sunday to you all-- well I guess in some instances Monday! --- OK question??? Does anyone know what I can do about this situation?? Our case is complete at NVC- we sent originals of EVERYTHING they asked for-- along with copies so that originals could be returned at the time of interview-- Think we may need those forms at some point down the road and they are MUCH MUCH easier to get here than they are in Jordan... OK so here is my dilema, in the letter we recieved from NVC our interview letter(pkt #4) it states that they have all the needed paperwork to conduct the interview EXCEPT the Marriage Certificate... we had an RFE on the marriage certificate, and I had hubby send me the one copy in Arabic we had... Do you suppose we should get another one??? It is CRAZY because I have copies of the one we sent to them!?! I am a lil worried. Told hubby to go see if he could get another, but am not sure how willing they will be to give it? UGH!?! Why does NVC do this to people?! I will be calling them Monday, but I really am concerned about the fact that we may have a marriage certificate floating around out there somewhere?! That is pretty PII!!! In anycase- any advise or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated...-Amy

I was reading the instructions on the USCIS webpage for I-864A and it says that "The signatures on the I-864A must be notarized by a notary public or signed before an immigration or consular officer." Have any of you notarized this form?

Yes....the I-864A has to be notarized, but not the I-864.

You only need an I-864A if you're using a joint sponsor.

Hi,

I am the petitioner .My brother will be the co-sponsor .We are not the member of same house hold .What I learnt from this link below it says,

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

Co-Sponsor in same HouseHold: I-864A and all Tax information as above

Co-Sponser NOT in same HouseHold: I-864 and all Tax information as above

Can anyone please clarify which form I need to be submitted ?one I-864 for me and what else ? another I-864 or I-864 A only or I-864 plus I-864 A for the cosponsor ?

The petitioner must ALWAYS submit an I-864....even if there's zero income.

Hello chopwater

You have to wait until your DS-3032 and AOS fee bill are generated before you send them in.

And yes, the only way you can know if these have been generated is calling NVC everyday. I personally suggest speaking with an operator.
