ok NVC has my case, case number assigned :)

CJ - have you called to see if your INN number was assigned yet?

Two tries so far and both negative. I'll make another attempt tonight. I think they take about a week to generate DS-3032 and AOS.

I checked the AVR this morning and it said that the AOS Fee Bill and the Choice of Agent requests were generated yesterday - 9 days after NVC entered our case into their system. I called back and talked to an operator who gave me the IIN right away. I was able to pay the AOS Bill online and I am waiting for it to be accepted. My husband will e-mail the Choice of Agent today too.

I guess it's safe to assume that NVC takes about a week to generate AOS and COA

yes, I think that seems about right.

I'd recommend mailing the hardcopy because our email took 13 days to receive a response. Good Luck to all approved and going through the NVC!!

I am curious as to how other recent approvals are doing at NVC. I would love to hear whether you have been able to send in the Choice of Agent or pay the AOS fee bill...

...I would love to hear about what progress others are making at NVC!

Much better than USCIS. I think the only thing that has slowed us down at NVC was Thanksgiving. Hopefully case complete before Christmas.

I submitted my our IV Fee Bill payment online Saturday. Saturday it then listed as "IN PROCESS". Sunday it listed as "IN PROCESS". But, today it lists as "NOT PAID".

Fingers crossed. I'll give it until Wednesday.

I called NVC Saturday night and got my case number....called them Monday morning to ask about those first three letters...KWT....it is for Kuwait, and although my husband was born there, he hasn't been there in over 15 years! The NVC operator said they had already changed it to ABD (Abu Dhabi) which is another problem in itself, since he has now gone back to Jordan. Whew.....now have to send them copy of passport, new address, etc for that!
