You have some time sweet meli. Most of the people who've been approved recently are February to April 2008 filers for I-130. As you're from July you may have some time. Hopefully VSC gets things going faster to spare you from the misery we've gone through. Keep checking this forum so you'll know what to do once you get approval.

I called NVC right now and was told my DS3032 has been genrated.... : :

But that Guy just refused to give the IIN number:(

Lets hope for the best...will ask hubby to send it today.......

I still don't have an interview date...this is getting pretty annoying. I hope they assign one soon. Any ideas guys?

CJ have you tried to contact the embassy to see if they will switch your k3 interview to a green card interview? because i don't think they will give you a better day than feb11.

Hey CJ - I had an NVC operator tell me that the NVC only schedules interviews the second week of each month. Has anyone else been told that? This motivated me to push Naples to request our file which they did and they received it today. I thought our I-130 file might make it to Naples on its own (after NVC scheduled the CR-1 interview) in time for the K-3 interview but after talking to the operator I realized that probably wouldn't happen. Now all we have to do is call Naples next week and request that our Jan. 20 K-3 interview be switched to a CR-1. I hope that NVC operator was wrong and that you will hear something soon!

I don't think it will be 90 days - I think that's just what they all say

I think this will move a lot faster after the holidays are done

I am hoping that they review my AOS and DS230 and approve before the 2nd week in Jan ~ so I will possibly still get an interview

in March

btw - does anyone know if you can re-schedule an interview? i have a trip planned to go to Ireland in March - with my luck my interview date will be while I was supposed to go to Ireland =/

Thanks Daniele and Jen. I just e-mailed Mumbai Consulate again to see if they can ask NVC to ship the case over and also indicated that I'd like to use the Feb 11 slot for the CR1 case. Let's see what happens.

are you guys submitting your husband's 2007 tax returns or are you guys waiting to file the 2008 returns also and then send the AOS? i am so not sure what to do..i dont my wife in a situation where they will ask her at the interview for the 2008 returns.

I actually found out through AVR on December 17 that my case completed on December 16.

they only update the AVR on Tues and Thurs?

i think this week is going to be a little off tho because of New years
