Looks like slowly but surely we're making some progress with NVC.

Yes Dessi! slowly but sure! i thought i was going to be more delayed but has been ok. can't complain! and i'm happy now because i found the pictures so i don't need to wait for my husband's mail!

It looks like NVC will start in the New Year for me... maybe the 5th.

I hope you'll get everything on the 5th maybe your case is @ their office but not yet uploaded to their systems. maybe on the 5th not only your case will be upload but your ds3032 will be generated and AOS bill as well. do you have everything ready? if so you just need the green light from them and you will be done in a breeze. my delays had been the holidays and that I forgot to make my husband signed the ds3032 so I had to wait till he send it to me.

Desi - Keep checking with operators every night. Your case should already be with them but possibly they didn't enter into the system. I too believe that NVC will pick up after 5th which is not far

Remember to send a copy AND the original.... since that is what it states on the web site:

Original Document Requirements

The applicant and each family member who will accompany the applicant to the United States will need to submit original documents or certified copies of the documents listed in this section from an appropriate authority (the issuing entity).

I will have to. It's frustrting, but I can understand it's due to holidays.

wow! i never knew we also had to submit photocopies...i am glad i read this today. you dont have to submit your BC as the DS-230 is filed on behalf of the beneficiary and requires documents from them.

I am not in too much rush at the NVC...i would rather do the AOS after filing my taxes....i think its better late than sorry...i dont want a RFE just coz i dint submit the correct tax returns. i cant do anything right this minute anyway as my case is not even there. i figure if my DS-3032 is generated by 5th, i will just pay the AOS and IV fee bill together. this way i will be close to Jan 15 by when i shud get my W2 and should be able to file taxes and then send both AOS and IV packet together.

I guess VSC gave me enough patience pills to last me a few more months

as far as i know you only sent originals - only send certified copies if you don't have them?

the beneficary needs to send in their origianl BC, ones with both parents on them

i sent in only the originals - I will let you know if i get an RFE
