Hello all...

On Tuesday Dec. 23 I sent the Choice of agent overnight to NVC. It was signed for on Wednesday Dec 24. I called today and spoke to an operator and she said they have not received it... She said that it takes up to 4 weeks for them to process documents after receiving them. WHAT???? Does anybody know how long does it take for NVC to enter the choice of agent to their system?

As, on tuesday Dec 23 I created my AOS Fee Bill using James Shortcuts.... (something that I REALLY regret).... because I received the letter from NVC with the Choice of agent, the AOS Fee Bill and the IIN on Saturday. Anyways, I sent it and it was received on Dec 24 as well... But they signed for it on Dec 26. How long before the AOS appears as PAID??? How long before they apply this payment? Does anyone know?

Former lawyer finally got the AOS and IV Bills. Going tomorrow morning to pick it up, pay the bills and hopefully send on Wed. For the people who paid online, can you describe the procedure. My brother told me that even if I pay online I have to mail something to the St Louis address. Is this right? Please advise.

I hope they will genrate my DS 3032 by wednesday...

hey guys,

quick question. when you sent the DS-3032 Choice of agent, did you send in a cover letter with it or did you just throw in the one page form (with the bar code) in an envelope and mail it out?

not that my DS-3032 is generated yet but i just want to be ready and if needed i can have wifey send in a signed coversheet over.

he is correct you will need your Case # and your INN # to log in then you will make the AOS payment and wait till next day (mine was changed to paid the day after) and print the barcode sheet. that you will send along with your I-864 but this is sent to the NH address to CMR

I sent my DS-3032 by itself... It was accepted yesterday with no problems at all... I created the barcode with James Shortcuts... Hey just to give you a heads up on the barcode.... when you create it and print it out... you will notice it is very small... Dont worry I pasted mine on the Ds-3032 and it was accepted with no problems at all...

i think it depends mostly on your bank as to how quick their system is.

I just found out that our I-130 file is on its way to the Italian Consulate now. Yay!!! Since NVC had all of our documentation and we had scheduled the K-3 interview for Jan. 20, I asked the Consulate to request our file from NVC and they actually did! So now we can just switch our K-3 interview to a CR-1. The Consulate in Naples usually gives out the CR-1 visas the same day as the interview. That will make it exactly two months from our NOA2 to visa in hand. We could have scheduled the interview a week earlier but my husband would have had to pay $250 to change his plane ticket (he is here now for the holidays) and we wanted to give NVC enough time to process our file.

One of the NVC operators told me a couple of weeks ago that NVC only schedules interviews the second week of each month so we would have had to wait until January for a date which probably would have put us in February for the interview. The operator at NVC also said they would only send the file to the Consulate if it was requested by the Consulate. I was prepared to get my Senators and Congressman involved again but thankfully there was no need this time.

I'm so glad that I had LingChe's shortcuts to suggest this K-3 shortcut! It probably saved us another month! Thank you Nimche and LingLing!
