Hi all, i was approved on 12/18 and called nvc to see the status but they have not received the file yet. I am currently on vacation with my wife so my process will be slowed down a little probably since i am not in the states but at least the uscis process is finally over.

I-30 JOURNEY

5-21-2008: NOA1

12-18-2008: NOA2

12-29-2008: NVC received Case/Case # assigned

1-5-2009: DS-3032/AOS Fee Bill Generateed

1-8-2009: Emailed DS-3032

1-12-2009: Paid AOS Bill

1-13-2009: AOS shows PAID

1-13-2009: DS-3032 Accepted

1-13-2009: IV Bill Generated

1-13-2009: IV Bill Paid

1-14-2009: IV Bill shows PAID

1-20-2009: Sent AOS Packet

1-21-2009: Sent IV Packet

1-23-2009: NVC scanned both AOS/IV

1-29-2009: CASE COMPLETE

3-02-2009: First Medical

3-09-2009: Second Medical (Albania requires 2)

3-11-2009: INTERVIEW (PASSED!!!)

3-13-2009: Received VISA!!!

Also waiting here, not sure how long it takes to generate ds-3032 and aos fee after the files are received at nvc. I hope it happens this week. Good luck everyone.

How's your process coming along? I'm still waiting for them to receive my files at NVC.

Same here. We were approved on the same day so our files should be in the same bundle to NVC :)

Looks like we've got some company here!

ok i spoke today to an operator kind of rude person but ok she told me my k3 left to santo domingo no the 19th and that for the i-130 the AOS bill was sent to me and the DS30-32 was not yet generated but it will. then when i asked for the INN she said wait for the bill as we don't give out that number. so i don't know what to do. how do i find out about interviews for the k3?

Just a slight correction - Its actually IIN (Invoice Identification Number). Are you asking for "IIN" (incorrect) or "Invoice Identification Number" (correct)? DS-3032 can surely be sent before paying AOS bill. If you can't get IIN, I think it will come with AOS bill in the mail which is not that much of waiting.

I think it varies depending on when VSC sends out paperwork to NVC. I have seen that some people were able to get case numbers within 2 business days of their approval while others had to wait for about a week. I was really hoping for our cases to reach NVC today. There is still half a day left :)

I think it varies depending on when VSC sends out paperwork to NVC. I have seen that some people were able to get case numbers within 2 business days of their approval while others had to wait for about a week. I was really hoping for our cases to reach NVC today. There is still half a day left :)

I called AVR last night but they didnt have my information, so i talked to the operator and he was able to pull up the information and he said that they received my case yesterday...then this morning i checked AVR again and it had my information but nothing related to DS-3032 generation. So i m still waiting...

12/15/1008- NOA2 email received

12/22/2008 - NVC CASE NUMBER ASSIGNED

12/29/2008 – MAILED & EMAILED CHOICE OF AGENT TO NVC

01/03/2009 – PAID AOS FEES

01/05/2009 – PAID IV FESS

01/08/2009 – SENT AOS PACKAGE

02/03/2009 - CASE COMPLETE

03/26/2009 - CR 1 INTERVIEW

I-129F

05/17/2008 – MAILED I-129F TO VSC

05/29/2008 – NOA1

12/15/2008 – NOA2

12/22/2008 – NVC ASSIGNED CASE NUMBER

12/24/2008 – SENT TO THE CONSULATE

CJ-V, u might have chance to have CR1 interview appointment before yr february K3 interview?

Thanks. I really hope that my CR1 interview beats the K3, but it seems like they stopped scheduling interviews after the second week. let's see what happens.

CJ not really, don't take it like that. have they send your case over to the embassy yet? I'm talking about the i-130. if not you could still contact the embassy and let them know that your cr1 was approved and the case has been completed at nvc so therefore you would like to switch your interview to cr1. definitely you will not get a January interview anymore at least you got a Feb.! I'm looking something like a March or April interview. so considered your self lucky.

my k3 reached the embassy today and actually the visa specialist told me to call back on monday to see if there is an interview date for me.

Yep, March-April seems about right estimate.
