Why do truckers here insist on using the middle lane?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Merging traffic. I cannot tell you how many times I have started to slow down for a merging car and then they slow down. I speed up, they speed up. The usual result is they blow by me and flip me off. I actually had an idiot brake check me a few weeks ago after that happened.

Yeah I see your point. Some places are worse than others. People don't seem to get how to merge.

Do you get annoyed when kids signal you to blow your horn? I used to love doing that as a kid!

No. I have two horns on my truck, the standard car horn and an air horn. I give them a little song with the two! The only time I won't do it is if I have another driver sleeping in the back, which is very rare.

People don't seem to get how to drive! That includes many of my fellow truckers.

Are trucks here speed limited to 65 mph as per AUS?

What is your favorite and most scenic route to travel?

well i have nothing to ask but i do have something to say.........we travel alot by road from one state to another and some of the best people we have ever met have been truckers......one time i remember us driving back from Illinois mom had been driving over twenty hours and was falling asleep a trucker got behind her and keep her awake with that annoying horn...when a rest area came up signaled for her to turn in she did he asked her what are u thinking lady......she told him money was to short for a hotel for all of us that man sat in that rest area all night nobody was allowed near our van......it was out in the middle of no where and i have to say that was one of the kindest things i have ever seen another driver do for anyone................may God Bless all the drivers out there that care about other humans............

The strangest thing I ever saw was a UFO on I-80 outside of Salt Lake City. There is a military test area there that I am sure had something to do with the sighting. It was a small triangular object hovering on the side of the road. I wasn't under the influence of anything and have adjusted to driving at night long ago. Fatigue could have been a factor, but I haven't seen anything like it before or after.

As far as something most don't know I would say stopping distance. These things don't stop on a dime. Leave as much room as possible when merging in front of one. They will run over a car.

I just got a new truck and it is governed at 95. I wouldn't dare go that fast, but there are portions of the west that the speed limit is 80. I love the Northwest. I-90 through Montana and Idaho. I-84 through Oregon is spectacular too.
