awwww doods. They grow up so fast! 12...serious..they look at boys at 12? Lexy is 5. Oh my. Grammy get the gun.

Her friend is the same age and has had SIX boyfriends already! What that exactly means I dunno. My daughters both have showed no interest in boys yet other than the occaisional movie star or singer so I haven't really been worried yet. Good gawd this sucks. I feel like pulling her from school, taking her shopping, out for a hot fudge sundae and just snuggling her till she's all better.

I've been up since 3 am. I fell asleep around 5 but then got a call from the hunny. Now I cant go back to sleep. I'm off today so I think I'm gonna go to the gym now and then bake some cookies. (nice combo, eh? gym=cookies)

Awwww, Bridget that's sad. I hope that she will be ok today. Kids get so private sometimes and embarassed to share things like that. My daughter is very private also but still refuses to say she doesn't have an interest in boys when I do try and get things out of her. I snoop though... and I found where she said a little boy was cute in her class last year. I asked her what she thought of him and she said ugly and disgusting...uh huh, yeah right babe!

I think I will have issues when it comes to her being an older teenager and wanting to date. My husband seems to think that a man has to engage her to date and that will totally freak out all of the boys. They will tell everybody to stay away from her or her crazy stepdad will be trying to marry her off!! Those of you with children from a previous marriage has any of your husbands spoke like this? I keep telling him things are different here than in Egypt. It's just something he will have to try and get used to I assume.

Before Usama got here we talked a lot about the kids and one thing he said is he didn't want them to date. I asked why and he said "I don't want them to have sex". I was like, "well good cause neither do I!!!"

Basically his concept of dating was all from tv and he didn't understand that it's very different here. Now that he's been here he agrees that it's ok but with a LOT of supervision, though. That being said, he's not their dad. When I suggested that dating might be around the corner to their dad his lovely advice was for me to get them on the pill ASAP.

Anyway at this age they move in packs of no less than 6 and while maybe one or two may get a kiss nothing else is going on. I walked in, by mistake , on them sitting in Panera's last week and all the girls were on one side of the table texting EACH OTHER and all the boys were just looking around and occaisionally saying something that would make the girls giggle and text again furiously.

I'm not even sure if this is about a boy but that's what hubby suspects and he seems to have a sixth sense with them whenever something is wrong.

Aym said the same thing about sex. But he also told my son that he is to never kiss a girl until the day he marries her. I told him practice what you preach brother he's not stupid!

I never really said it was "forbidden". Here's how it actually "went down" ur all gonna kill me

We watched "RENT" together. Of course i closed his eyes when the lady was stripping, but outside of that, I let him watch. It opened up many roads that we discussed. Drugs, and what they do to you that makes you so sick, and how hard it is to quit BECAUSE of what they do to ur body. AIDS, and how "relations" with too many people increases ur chances of getting it, along with using needles when doing drugs. Relationships, and why ppl have to live with nothing because they don't have jobs and can't afford to live....and THAT led into how you take care of yourself and your loved ones.. He actually is the one that stated first that he wanted to have his life in line before he got married coz he wants his wife and possible kids to be taken care of. I love that boy!

The lil guy decided to scream from 1am-4am and was inconsoleable (sp?) Im extremely tired and feel like I have a bad hangover. I work 12-830...Its gonna be a looong day
