Oh, it gets even better. You all know I am at 8 and a half months. Well, On Oct. 27 I was allowed to submit a status inquiry request, because my case was at 7 months, and back then, before the processing times moved backwards, I was outside. I was told on multiple occasions to give USCIS up to 45 days to respond, I should receicve something. Well, today was 45 days. I called national, they said they show nothing to indicate that the inquiry has been responded to by Vemont, they told me to call VSC. The VSC agent said she would not look into my case, they are not responsible for the service inquiry requests, I had to deal with national for that. When I told her that national had told me to call VSC, because their info showed no activity from their agents, her response was simply "Sir, I cannot help you any more", and she hung up.

I'm seriously considering taking a trip to Vermont, and confronting these people face to face.

Seen 1 Approval of I-130, for a June filer who was actually transfered in CSC in Early November....So, can't count him as VSC approval though...

CJ,

I put in the inquiry with officer boswell last month, she said..they will tell you where you are and what is taking so long.... i received the response last week

"our comuter system shows your petition is pending" Thanks captain obvious! then the letter went on to say that I could utilize the online system to check status

Its so frustrating! Im pretty defeated at this point, really.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Maybe when we finally get our loved ones here we will learn to appreciate our relationships more through this struggle.-On the optimistic side. On the pessimistic side-I am tired of waiting and want my man here now!

Un-freaking believable, Lisa.

But of course, not surprised in the least.

Take care, dear. Thanks for the info.

Mrs. Rhoades - Congratulations. Can you please fill up your timeline or let us know when you sent your I-130 and I-129F and when did you get your NOA1? That could help the rest of us to guage VSC's working timeline.

I applied for I-130 in fed, and got NOA1 on 27th march.

I applied for I-129 in july, and got NOA1 on 1th august.

I called the congressman and some one at USCIS told him that they were doing late feb, march and some april. So even when VSC is so slow it is moving along. Don't give up  keep on going at it.

Two recent cases have confirmed that VSC seems to go by the I-130 date rather than the I-129F date when it comes to determining your priority in the adjudication queue (both applications are essentially treated as one entity). It doesn't offer any hope to us July/August or later filers who sent in their I-129F within a month of I-130. Still a long wait ahead for us methinks.

I am sorry I can't fillin timelines because my mother-in-law is the one who has all the paper work in the states and my husband is in Iraq, so I cant give you most fo the dates but what I can tell you is that I think that they go with the I-130 date, at least that is a blessing. :star:

I really do pray that VCS goes by the NOA1 date from your i-130!!! That means i should be approved much earlier than i was expecting! I got my noa1 for my i-130 in May! but my noa1 for my i129f only in august. do you think this could actually be good news for me??
