K3 Visa approvals for December 2008

Hi all

Thought id start this thread to see if we have any K3 approvals as yet!!! I have seen one so far but all the other approvals seem to be K1 or CR-1!! Or K3 approvals from CSC! Have you seen that someone from CSC was approved in like 3 months! They got there NOA1 in November and NOA2 now in december!! What happened to Vermont???

ANY ONE WANNA JUMP OFF A BRIDGE WITH ME!!!

So as you can see im desperate for some good news so please if you have had an approval or even an update please post here.

Good luck to all and hope you all get a speedy approval! My heart goes out to those who are Feb/March/April filers. I only got my NOA1 in August and im loosing my mind!!

Ok so officially freaking out over here now!! Has there really only been one I-129F noa2 approval this month so far??? WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE!!!

Has there not been any other k3 approvals besides me this week? It really sucks that vsc is back to its sh!tty pace.

I also believe ladydaisy2003 is a K-3 that was approved on 12/3/08. Their timeline only reflects CR-1 but if you look at their post from yesterday, they said both their CR-1 and K-3 petitions were approved. I found an earlier post confirming that they had filed a I-129F.

ladydaisy2003 filed I-129F in June. Does this support an often-debated view that the I-129F filing date is irrelevant and what really matters is the I-130 filing date ? They seem to process the I-130s in the order they were received and in case there is a I-129F too, it gets approved at the same time. Of course it doesn't make a difference for most of us when the two applications are filed within a month of each other.

Congrats to the two of you that got approved. Still though, only two this week?? thats just disgusting!!! And to be honest i hope that the I-129F NOA date is irrelevant cause i only filled that in August but filled my I-130 in May. And i have seen someone who filled their

i-130 in May and their 129f in July and they got their NOA2 for their K3 last month.

I wish we really knew how this thing worked and they stuck to what they say they are doing. but they say one thing then it changes 5min later!! How can we keep up!!!

Well lets just hope we get some more approvals today and the process hurries the hell up!! Good luck everyone

one thing i have learned in this waiting game - dont panic! i mean frustration is legit and everyone goes through it...but you are at the mercy of a slow department and no one can help. so i guess we have to live with it and the day we get our NOA2, go out and have a drink! many have tried to write letters and have been very encouraging and have tried to do a bunch of stuff...quite honestly, i dont think it works even a tiny bit!

Yes that is true! Our both petitions were approved on the same day! We learned K-3 very late, so K-3 NOA1 was June 24. but both CR1 and K-3 were approved on the December 2nd. I think they looked over the both cases together. In this may be you should consider I-130 timeline..If your I-130 NOA2 is in March-April your approvals should be on the way

By the way after the approval (NOA2) do you think K-3 takes less time than CR1? Do you know how long approx do they take?

Note really that exciting news, but looking through the timelines, I noticed louisie25, whose I-130 NOA1 was from 9/18/07, I-129F NOA1 of 4/29/08 who was approved on 12/2/08. Boy that's a long time. Don't know what to think of it given they haven't given much of a story.

I'm thinking the approvals will slow down this month due to the holiday season.

This month is month #6 for us. MAYBE we will hear something in the next couple weeks... What a wonderful Christmas Present that would be. I'm not holding my breath though...

Maybe....... Just Maybe they are holding all the approvals for this month until Christmas Eve.

I'm just dreaming...

I want to start my life with my husband. My kids are waiting for him to be with us. Another Christmas without my beautiful husband.... I don't understand VERMONT.

I'm missing my husband so much. It is so hard to be apart from him.

I called my attorney hoping to get some answers. He said he doesn't know of any unusual delays at Vermont and he said to be patient. The approval will come. He said there is still time for an approval before Christmas.

After reading the posts... I'm not counting on it.... It is hard to stay positive when you have waited for so long....
