 Hi all,

I am sorry guys,I know this question has been asked a trillion times but my research on the forums does not clarify my question.

Ok, when filling out the form(G-325A),it is two(8 total pages) forms, one me and the other my husband.

NOW, I sign mine where it says applicants signature and on the black box below (COMPLETE THIS BOX).

Does my husband sign HIS or do I have to sign his as well since I AM THE APPLICANT?

Please, can anyone clarify this for me? I am sending out the package on thursday after I complete the medical examination and I would really appreciate any help from this forum.

Thankyou all :star:

Your husband need to sign his and you need to sign yours. Anyways, what are you applying for?

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

They are right u need to sign your part and your husband has to sign his part. If you sign on behalf of your husband uscis might be suspicious and they might hold your paper. just my 2 cents

You are filing for AOS, the G325A attached to the I-130 (HIS petition) contains his details, so it must be signed by him, everyone else posting is correct. You are filing for adjustment of status, he is filing to petition you for a visa number - so you are applicants, hope that makes sense.

03/01/2007 - POE - JFK (L-1 Visa)

01/15/2008 - Proposed

03/15/2008 - Married

09/02/2008 - Sent AOS Package (I-130, I-485, I-693)

09/03/2008 - Received - Signed by SMITH

09/04/2008 - Checks deposited

09/10/2008 - Checks cleared ($1010 + $355)

09/12/2008 - 2 NOA's received (I-130, I-485) - Dated 09/08/08

09/16/2008 - Received notice for biometrics appointment on 09/30/2008

09/20/2008 - Biometrics done - Walk in (Orlando) Took 10 minutes

09/22/2008 - I-485 viewable online (pending, of course)

09/30/2008 - Biometrics Appointment (2pm)

12/30/2008 - Received Interview Letter

IT has been the best explanation, now I completely understand the reason why he signs, why he is considered an applicant too(for my visa number).Thank you, thank you :star:
