Hey Boaz, thank you for your words. Are you from Cameroon also?

Envy me, thank you so much for your encouragement, I have really high hopes about this.

Hi, i have a case like yours. I don't understand how you can file AOS without having the i130 approve. My case was forward to the local office to schedule a date for the i130 interview but i was told by my lawyer there is a possibility i can get arrested at the interview since i did not leave voluntarily. I also have a son and i am a college graduate with 2 degrees, am so worried of losing my family.

Hey CARIBBEANGIRL04,

Why dont you PM me or send me an email so we can talk and exchange ideas. In my case also there is a possibility I can get arrested, but my attorney and many others people already have a plan in place just in case. Get a hold of me so we can chat. But always remember this, doesnt matter what anything is possible through God. Looking forward to hear from you.

I don't understand how you were "granted" voluntary departure AND now have an AOS interview? I thought once departure of any kind that the aos process would've stopped...why were you "granted voluntary departure"?

Hi, Thanks for sharing your timeline! I just passed my interview on 01/13/09 and got approved! Yes, baby! But I now realized that I didn't get any "temporary evidence" regarding my greencard approval... makes me feel a little bit worried. Just wondering.. did you get a stamp on your passport or any kind of approval note after the interview?

It has been 2 days since then and I didin't receive CRIS Email regarding welcome or card production ordered, etc info yet. Also, my online status hasn't been updated yet - it still shows that my I-485 & I-130 is pending. Is that "normal"? Hope you can give me some clue. Thanks in advance.

To CaribbeanGirl and Babyshaq,

I wish you all the best. May the person who handles your case find compassion in their hearts, to hear out your TRUE case, to understand your situation, and to realize you are good people who are only trying to start a new life in this country.

I hope your lawyer is also doing his/her best to answer all your questions and keep you calm and relaxed for your interview.
