:help: Hello friends,

I was granted voluntary departure but never left. Now I have an appointment for my AOS based on my marriage. I hear so many differents stories and laws... Please any helps and sugestions are welcome. Also feel free to ask me any questions if you need to know more about my situation.Thank you in advance. :help:

Entered the USA on July 22nd, 1999 on B1/B2 (I-94 valid through January 2000)
Second marriage to the Love of my life on August 5th, 2006
Son born on September 30th, 2007
Son born on August 26th, 2009
Deported/Removed from the US on August 19th, 2010
Filed an I-824 (01-06-2011)
I-824 Approved (01-21-2011) and Forwarded to NBC
Email From The NVC (02-07-2011) Case Received and Case Number Assigned
AOS and IV invoices fees on February 11th, 2011
AOS and IV invoices fees pay on February 14th, 2011
AOS and IV Documents requested by the NVC on February 15th, 2011

I don't understand how you were "granted" voluntary departure AND now have an AOS interview? I thought once departure of any kind that the aos process would've stopped...why were you "granted voluntary departure"?

Thank you for your reply and questions. I got married after I was granted voluntary departure. I was granted voluntary departure because my asylum was denied. Please let me know if any other question. Again thank you.

O no I got marry because love. Two kids are the fruit of that love. Even thought one passed away on July 22nd 2006 and we got marry on August 5th 2006 while still grieving. We were planing to get marry before the birth, but his death came first. Again thanks for your inputs.

SORRY to hear about the death, but God can heal all hurting hearts... i have 2 kids myself and can't see anything better as far as proof of Love, you should be fine...just be open and honest with them

Thank you so much. Yes I will be honest with them, nothing to hide. I just hope the person interviewing me got a good heart. My living child is the light of my life. Also I have a college degree. And you are so right, anything is possible with God. I just hear so many things, like when you are not supposed to be here, you could be arrested at the interview, but I also hear that if the interviewer is nice he or she might not bring anything up and just approve you.I see that you have the france flag, that's where you are from? Again thank you.
