my F2B was approved last year (2005) in June. i haven't got a visa number yet.

and i got married to a US citizen early this year.

my question is: does my F2B petition automatically get void? or should i contact the National Visa Center about my personal situation? or should i fill out any forms?

does anyone know? help!

F2B has a 10 year wait, I take it that you have just started the process?

Best going with the Spouse option CR1/K3, or even DCF if that is applicabale and available.

If you get a new I-130 filed for you (by your spouse) it would be a courtesy to notify the Service Center and NVC in writing that you are withdrawing the original I-130.
