Co-sponsorship Letter of Intent

I have a friend that will be a co-sponsor for me as I have been in graduate school for the past 3 years and have not worked much during that time. I have used the past year applying for positions in my field with no avail. I am sure that will change with the administration change, but not right away. Along with the notarized I-134 forms from the both of us, would it be prudent to include some form of a letter of intent from my friend being the co-sponsor? I have adequate savings and some assets, but have read that income is more of a determining factor in granting the visa. Thanks in advance for any advise on this issue. Rex

You'll want to check out the SAWASDEE thread here in this forum for Embassy specific guidelines regarding co-sponsors and ask the folks that have been through Bangkok.
