Sure is getting close now! I can't wait to do the 'homecoming' countdown!

Any projects? I think I'm gonna paint the kitchen a warm color. I was looking in a magazine today at spice colors, like paprika and saffron.

Nice pick for colors. If you redo the kitchen be sure to post pictures for us to see. I don't own my house so I can't really paint anything, but I have fixed up all the areas I wanted to and I bought all new bedroom furniture in the spring in anticipation of my husband coming.

LOL! :jest: Talking about libraries-- the book mobile just went by-- its a kind of traveling library it goes next door every other tuesday-- Just wish I could remember it is coming!!! UGH! Oh well! We are having the CRAZIEST weather today too! It was cloudy all morning- thought it would snow, but it didn't! Then the sun came out this afternoon and it started hailing, sleeting, thundering and lighning!?!?!? This is the strangest weather for this time of year here! It was 66 degrees when I left the shopping mall, and it is now 50 or so?! Usually way colder than that in December here! Oh well talk to you all again soon!-Amy

Yes, I should do a before and after pic!

2 more hours of work. I love my job. It's like sitting at home only no cat.

jJ :luv:

Its easier to walk when I am at work because I have an evil cat who is determined to kill me on the stairs. I am convinced of it though I told her she is not on my life insurance policy, lol.

I wish I could say my cat doesn't see me coming, but she actually races ahead of me when I go up or down the stairs and then she stops in the middle of them and sprawls out so I have to skip a step. She usually does this just as I'm going to put my foot on that step and then has the nerve to meow angrily if I accidentally brush her with my feet (I don't even actually step on her). Sometimes to avoid this I just pick her up and carry her so she can't get in my way, lol.

Well, thats the key-- she just wants some lovin from momma! Pets can be so needy! but they are soooo much fun! The dog just moves sooo fast, that there is no chance of me ever acutally stepping on her, but she's so small, I don't want to chance sqwishing her, so I am always overly careful I suppose, but no sqwished doggies around here for me! lol. pets....

Hi everybody, hope you are all great, I read these boards a lot but today I need help...it has been tiring lately from school all the time but it will all be over soon I hope. I jsut have one semester left to graduate college...I am majoring in Criminal Justice with minor in Psych. I graduate in just 5 months but Im not exactly sure what to do then with our life..So far my husband hasn't found any work and God knows he has tried everythign twice. He is currently working at pizza hut and for my dad right now, but I can tell it is really wearing him down having to work with complete idiots (his manager asks him on advice Re: her business degree since she doesn't have it, yet he is the cook and has a degree). His degree is from Egypt in Business Mgmt. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do when I graduate? We have been really unlucky in Texas trying to find a job for him and I think just his name is enough to make our opportunities dwindle. we are either movign to Houston, Dallas, or out of state. Where in America can he find a job because he is really intelligent and this is ridiculous that he has to work at Pizza Hut....I feel that we are capable and smart young people but I am starting to think that Texas is not for us.

YAY! Move to Georgia!!! thats my advice! I only like going to Texas to visit family.

Happy Tuesday by the way! Im now very happy and exciting that Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss has won a 2nd term in the Senate for Georgia!!! He and his office did alot for me to get Adam over here. From what I understand in a letter from the head of the Embassy last year, He personally got in touch with the Embassy on our behalf after 4 months of trying to get the movement certificate. Im very thankful for all he has done while in office as well. Back in 2005 I was given the opportunity to speak about Domestic Violence on the steps of the State Capital which he was there.
